14 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Brown Wilson! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson looking to score a takedown here. Quarry is defending well but Wilson drives through and ends up in Quarry's guard. Wilson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wilson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quarry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Quarry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson content to stall in guard here. It looks like Wilson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quarry utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Quarry is keeping the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Wilson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Quarry is breathing heavily. Wilson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wilson scoring with punches from side control. Wilson scoring with punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quarry stops Wilson from passing to mount. Quarry tries to bench press Wilson off him but Wilson keeps the position. Wilson controlling the position from side mount. Quarry is not content to let Wilson control the position. Wilson lands a few punches from side control. Wilson tries to move to mount but Quarry blocks the move with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wilson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Quarry seems a little lost for a moment, as Wilson dominates the positioning. Wilson scoring with punches from side control. Wilson in side control, just content to control the action for now. Wilson is looking to take a break and control but Quarry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Quarry on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Quarry takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Quarry is not content to let Wilson control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wilson landing a few strikes. Quarry takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Quarry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wilson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wilson looking to sit in guard and control but Quarry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wilson pulls Quarry in close to his closed guard and prevents Quarry from doing any damage or advancing position. Quarry preventing the sweep. Brown Wilson has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quarry wants to pass the guard but Wilson is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Quarry is controlling him. Wilson controlling Quarry's posture. Wilson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Quarry manages to pass to side control. Quarry is looking to take a break and control but Wilson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wilson is doing well to control the position and prevent Quarry from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Quarry is looking to pass Wilson's guard but actually Wilson recovers to full guard. Quarry advances to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wilson moves into full guard.
Wilson manages to escape and get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson landing strikes. Wilson trying to control the action but Quarry is working from the bottom. Quarry being controlled for a moment. Quarry on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Wilson is chipping away with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wilson scores with punches from side control. Quarry taking a bit of punishment here - Wilson scoring with strikes. Wilson lands a nice forearm strike. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Wilson lands a nice forearm strike. Wilson works to advance to full mount. Quarry defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Wilson with shots to the head and body - Quarry looks very uncomfortable down there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wilson lands a big elbow. Wilson controlling the pace for now. Wilson tries to control but Quarry wriggling away. Brown Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Wilson feints and as Quarry raises his hands in defense, Wilson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Quarry is keeping the position. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Quarry's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wilson scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wilson not doing much here.

Wilson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Quarry won't allow Wilson to pass to mount. Wilson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. More stalling from Wilson. Wilson working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wilson controlling the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Wilson scores with a takedown into Quarry's guard. Wilson wants to control from the top but Quarry keeps moving. Wilson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Wilson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Wilson works over Quarry with some ground and pound from guard. Wilson pushing down on Quarry's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wilson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wilson is nestled in close to Quarry, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Wilson controlling the action here. Quarry taking some punishment here, with Wilson in his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Quarry knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson is trying to control. Quarry wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Wilson wants to free his trapped foot but Quarry is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wilson stalling.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wilson misses with a body kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wilson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Alex Quarry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wilson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wilson lands an elbow. Brown Wilson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wilson controlling from side mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Brown Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Brown Wilson! Brown Wilson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

29 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kassidy Cullen! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volkov throws a body kick that misses and Cullen counters with a straight right hand. Cullen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Volkov shoots in looking for a takedown. Cullen tries to sprawl out of it but Volkov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cullen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Volkov closes the distance looking to clinch and Cullen counters with a nice body shot. Volkov misses with a hook
and Cullen counters with a slapping leg kick. Cullen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Volkov moves away. It looked like Volkov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cullen lands with a kick to the temple. Volkov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Vladislav Volkov has been cut. Cullen attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Volkov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Volkov has his takedown stuffed and Cullen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cullen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cullen wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladislav Volkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Volkov with that takedown attempt. Cullen connects with a jab. Cullen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Volkov. Volkov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cullen defends well and Volkov ends up having to push Cullen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Cullen just misses with a punch to the body.
Cullen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cullen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Volkov. Volkov closes the distance and clinches up with Cullen, looking for a takedown. Volkov pushes Cullen against the cage but Cullen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Volkov avoids the head kick by Cullen.
Volkov misses with a takedown attempt and Cullen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Volkov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A countering left hand to the body from Cullen misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cullen lands a nice hook to Volkov's body. Volkov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Cullen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cullen lands a big head kick that sends Volkov to the canvas! Cullen follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kassidy Cullen! Kassidy Cullen gave a mention to Hell's Balls Recovery (160) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Khan catches Stark right on the button with a cross. Khan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Khan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Khan tries to clinch there but Stark circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice body punch from Khan. Stark tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Khan is able to avoid easily. It seemed like Khan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Stark has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Fortress in the buildup to the fight. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Khan checks a leg kick. Stark swings widly with a right hand
and Stark takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jab by Khan. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stark, as that shot connected.
Khan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan thows a left - swing and a miss! Stark misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stark takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stark throws a low kick but it's checked well by Khan. Stark throws a right hand that Khan ducks under and follows up with a left that Khan also avoids with ease. Stark misses with an uppercut. Stark takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Stark jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stark throws a lazy uppercut
and Khan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Khan gets a clinch. Stark wants to get back to striking at distance but Khan won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan pushes Stark back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Khan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Nice body punch from Khan - that landed with a thud.

Still in the clinch, Khan scores with a nice short uppercut. Stark wants to get back to striking at distance but Khan won't allow it.

Stark tries to break the clinch but Khan is controlling the position. Khan tries to throw a body punch but Stark avoids it by throwing Khan back against the cage. Khan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stark's efforts to push away. Khan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stark backwards. Khan pushes Stark back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Khan lands a body punch. Stark being controlled against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Khan. Khan misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khan keeps control of Stark as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stark breaks from the clinch.
Khan moves out of range of the strikes. Khan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Stark takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Khan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Khan staying out of range there. Khan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Khan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Khan thumps Stark with a low kick. Stark misses with a two punch combination.
Stark is looking to score with low kicks. Khan blocks a low kick nicely. Khan scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Khan lands a glancing blow to the side of Stark's head. Stark misses with a right hand and Khan counters with a left to the body. Khan lands a nice looking body shot.
Khan lands with an uppercut that bounces Stark off the cage and back into range. Khan slips a jab from Stark. Stark throws a leg kick and Khan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Khan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Stark had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stark uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Khan is rocked! Stark ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Khan's jaw. Khan's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Stark does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anstey closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kanegi's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anstey slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Anstey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kanegi is looking for a sweep. Kanegi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Anstey perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kanegi is refusing to be controlled, as Anstey sits in half guard. It looks like Anstey is going to stand back up.

Anstey prevents Kanegi from improving his position. Kanegi won't allow Anstey to pass to mount. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Kanegi flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kanegi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anstey manages to avoid it. Anstey throws a combination that misses and Kanegi counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Kanegi crashes against the mat.
Kanegi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Anstey sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Anstey is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kanegi has just dragged him back down to the mat. Anstey is trying to control Kanegi's posture but Kanegi avoids it. Anstey is trying to get back to half guard. Kanegi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Anstey is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kanegi works to advance to full mount. Anstey defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kanegi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kanegi punishing his opponent with strikes.
Anstey is rocked! Kanegi in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Oh Anstey is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kanegi softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Anstey is out cold! Kanegi jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anstey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hodor now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Anstey takes one to the side of the head.
Anstey cracks Hodor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice shot lands for Anstey. A head kick misses from Anstey. Anstey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hodor gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Hodor sprawls well. Hodor misses with a left hand and Anstey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Anstey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Hodor misses with a jab to the body
and Anstey counters with a straight right hand.

Hodor is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Anstey with a body shot. Hodor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Anstey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hodor scrambles back to his feet. Hodor throws a hook to the side of Anstey's head but Anstey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hodor is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Anstey throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hodor has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Anstey finds it's way round the side to connect with Hodor's head. Hodor throws out a powerful jab. Anstey is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Hodor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Anstey is looking to counter punch. Anstey lands a leg kick that knocks Hodor off balance momentarily. A big right from Hodor misses. Anstey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hodor.

Can Anstey finish him? Hodor gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Anstey gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Animai takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Animai scores with a jab. Animai on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Barksdale throws a series of punches but Animai moves out of range. As Barksdale backs off Animai throws a huge counter combo but Barksdale manages to avoid it all. Animai chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barksdale can pounce on him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barksdale jabbing away but nothing is landing. Animai connects with the punch. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Barksdale! Animai is out on his feet! Barksdale rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Animai is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Animai is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Avon Barksdale! Avon Barksdale retains his light heavyweight title! Avon Barksdale decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
