Well Fu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug throws out a loose jab but Scorpion uses good head movement to avoid it.
Scorpion fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Cinder Smaug has been cut.
Scorpion moves away from the strike by Smaug.
Smaug cracks a nice hook into Scorpion's ribs.
Smaug misses with an uppercut.
Scorpion closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Smaug throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Ranky Scorpion has been cut.
Smaug displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scorpion.

Cinder Smaug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scorpion chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smaug can pounce on him.

Scorpion told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scorpion closes the distance and clinches up with Smaug, looking for a takedown. Scorpion pushes Smaug against the cage but Smaug circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cinder Smaug has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ranky Scorpion.
Smaug throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Scorpion swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smaug. That's going to slow Scorpion down.
Smaug lands with a shot to the body.

Smaug throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scorpion throws out a counter right but Smaug avoids it with no problem.

A thudding body kick lands there by Smaug!

Smaug feints and then cracks Scorpion's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Scorpion down.
Scorpion tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Smaug connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scorpion's hands.

BOOM! Smaug lands a beautiful left hook that drops Scorpion. Scorpion tries to recover but Smaug is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Scorpion lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
