The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steel.
Steel ducks under a wild hook from Tyson.
Tyson throws a body shot but no joy.
Tyson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Steel is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson tries to move into range but Steel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Steel looks to land a combination but Tyson avoids it well.
Steel works the jab nicely.
Steel throws a leg kick that is checked
and Tyson counters with a straight right hand.
Tyson feints a jab promting Steel to slip. Tyson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Steel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Alex Steel has been cut.

Steel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tyson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Steel cracks Tyson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
