3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Pettis! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson throws a jab when Pettis was well out of range. Anderson leaves Pettis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pettis slips under a jab. We've been informed that Pettis has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A left lands for Pettis. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pettis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Anderson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Anderson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Anderson missing with a left hand there. Pettis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Anderson misses with a hook. Pettis ducked under it nicely. Pettis changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The crowd cheers as Anderson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pettis doesn't seem phased though. Anderson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Anderson throws a jab but it's blocked by Pettis. Pettis drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Anderson defends it well. Pettis takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pettis checks it well. Pettis slips a jab from Anderson. We've been told by Anderson's head coaches at Kombat MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Anderson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pettis's sensitive parts. Pettis digs a good body shot into Anderson's ribs. Nice shot by Pettis.

Anderson looks to land a combination but Pettis avoids it well. Anderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pettis momentarily.
Terry Anderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Anderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pettis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pettis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Anderson connects with a body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Pettis does a little dance to reset his feet.

Pettis misses with a looping right. A clash of legs there as Pettis blocks the low kick. Anderson throws a hook but Pettis avoids it easily. Anderson tries to kick Pettis off but Pettis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pettis is working for a submission of some sort.

Pettis has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Anderson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Pettis gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

After the fight, Anthony Pettis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

OvGod is rocked! Scapular drops OvGod with a huge uppercut! OvGod drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Scapular is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

That sent Castillo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Castillo fails in his attempt to clinch. Beltshazar lands the left hand. Castillo doesn't manage to clinch there - Beltshazar circles away.

Castillo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Beltshazar lands a big right hand that sends Castillo crashing to the mat! It looks like Coz Castillo has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beltshazar connects with a nice cross there... Castillo is looking wobbly and Beltshazar recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Castillo to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Beltshazar jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Vorster bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Vorster is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sanchez can do to turn this around? Vorster postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sanchez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vorster, into his guard.

Jandre Vorster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Vorster is looking for a sweep. Vorster prevents Sanchez from moving into mount. That was a close fourth round but I would say that Jandre Vorster will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
