The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kage if he has to take too many more of those.
Page slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Page paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Page swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Kage darts in and clinches Page up against the cage.

Page breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Page throws a push kick but Kage slaps the foot to one side.
Kage is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Page steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kage misses with a takedown
and Page cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kage is looking to clinch but Page is avoiding it.
Page wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Page throws a chopping leg kick but Kage manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kage shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kage is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Page is trying to force a seperation but Kage has the dominant position.

Kage misses with an attempted mid kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Page throws a shot from downtown. Kage moves away and avoids it.
Kage moves to clinch but Page breaks away
and Page counters with a stiff right hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Page.
A swing and a miss from Kage.

Kage has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kage is trying to pull guard but Page has him pressed against the cage.
Page blocks an uppercut.
Kage is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Page gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

and Page counters with a huge head kick that drops Kage! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!

As Dennis Page got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: George Kelly the pikey is coming for you'.
Raijin Kage spoke after the fight, saying 'The storm only gets stronger...'.
