Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Play is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Capetto is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Capetto flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Play anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Capetto and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Play slips an arm under Capetto chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Play has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Play is squeezing on Capetto like an anaconda would it's prey. Capetto fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berrian throws a sloppy head kick and de Ferro moves out of range easily.
Berrian misses with an attempted mid kick.
Berrian showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from de Ferro.
de Ferro just misses with a punch to the body.
Berrian tries a head kick but it misses.
Berrian swings for the body but de Ferro moves out of range.
Berrian tries to score with a low kick but de Ferro moves his leg out of the way.
Berrian is looking to land body kicks.
de Ferro walks forward, straight into a front kick from Berrian.
A good leg kick by Berrian.
Berrian scoring well with a low kick there.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from de Ferro lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Berrian has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Berrian and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and de Ferro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
de Ferro stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Berrian.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Berrian will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
de Ferro throws out a leg kick but Berrian moves out of range and de Ferro only half commits.
Berrian connects with a solid leg kick.
Berrian scoring well with a low kick there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Berrian throws a head kick that de Ferro semi-blocks.
A leg kick checked by de Ferro.
A nice leg kick lands there from Berrian.
de Ferro is breathing heavily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! de Ferro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Berrian - the referee stops the clock and de Ferro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Berrian. de Ferro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Berrian tries to land a front kick but de Ferro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dingle Berrian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Berrian.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Berrian dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on de Ferro. That did some damage!
de Ferro takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

de Ferro is rocked!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Berrian.
Oh de Ferro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Berrian cracks de Ferro on the jaw with a powerful right hand and de Ferro falls backwards against the cage. Berrian follows up with more strikes that drop de Ferro to his knees. Berrian keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save de Ferro! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dingle Berrian!
