The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz misses with a lunging right hand
and Kimura counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that. Kimura staying calm. Kimura looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Diaz is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kimura in side control, throwing shots but Diaz defends. Kimura working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kimura tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Diaz prevents Kimura from moving into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Diaz is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kimura yanks on the arm and Diaz is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaaka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vaaka moves into the clinch successfully.
Bradley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vaaka scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Abe Bradley has been cut. Bradley ducks under a wild hook from Vaaka. A cross from Vaaka lands. Vaaka misses with a body shot.
Vaaka rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bradley flicks out a counter leg kick but Vaaka steps away. Vaaka gets a clinch. Vaaka holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Bradley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vaaka throws a series of strikes that have Bradley backpedaling.
Vaaka bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bradley's head backwards. Bradley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vaaka finds it's way round the side to connect with Bradley's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bradley keeps the fight on the outside. Vaaka tries to clinch but Bradley is having none of it. Vaaka is looking to clinch. Despite the aggression on Bradley's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Vaaka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Bradley counters with a left and a right that stings Vaaka. Bradley avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaaka tries to clinch and Bradley counters with a low kick, right behind Vaaka 's knee. Vaaka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bradley circles away quickly and effectively. Bradley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Vaaka on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Vaaka rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradley moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vaaka clinches. Bradley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A big right from Vaaka misses. Bradley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bradley is trying to counter with his kicks. Bradley scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Vaaka throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Vaaka tries to clinch and Bradley counters with a two punch combo. Vaaka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vaaka throws a combination that misses and Bradley counters with a crisp one two that drops Vaaka! Bradley thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vaaka to his feet! Vaaka is in big trouble!
Vaaka is rocked! Bradley looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Bradley backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Vaaka's temple! It sends Vaaka violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Bradley celebrates and the doctors try to help Vaaka!

DeNino misses the jab. Misiek slips under a jab from DeNino. Rafael Misiek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Misiek tries to land a front kick but DeNino steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Misiek lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

DeNino is rocked! Misiek fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks DeNino square on the jaw! Damn, DeNino is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Kane keeps the fight on the outside. Cornholio definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Cornholio scores with a nice strike. Kane misses with a body kick. Kane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kane connects with an inside leg kick. Kane avoids the head kick by Cornholio.
Cornholio fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kane has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Cornholio tries a head kick but it misses.
Kane has a takedown stuffed. Cornholio cracks the inside of Kane's front leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cornholio throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Kane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cornholio's waist but Cornholio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kane off to one side. Kane misses with a body kick. Kane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Cornholio looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cornholio throws a leg kick that misses. Kane changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Cornholio here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Cornholio stuffs the takedown attempt from Kane. Kane gets slowly back to his feet. Great Cornholio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Kane. Cornholio goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Cornholio looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kane's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cornholio connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kane scrambles back to his feet. Kane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cornholio sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kane somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cornholio throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kane. Cornholio blocks a head kick by Kane.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cornholio on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Cornholio tries to buck Kane off but Kane is having none of it. Kane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cornholio keeps working. Cornholio controls the position for a moment. Cornholio is looking for a sweep. Great Cornholio is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cornholio taking a bit of punishment here - Kane scoring with strikes. Cornholio is looking for a sweep. Kane scoring with punches and elbows. Kane fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Kane. Kane goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cornholio has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kane but great work by Cornholio. Kane is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Kane is looking to get back to full guard here but Cornholio has managed to pass to side control instead. Kane can't do much from the bottom here. Cornholio is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kane can do to turn this around? Kane is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cornholio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kane keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! Great Cornholio showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cornholio has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eastwood fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Macotti has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Eastwood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Macotti moves away. Macotti swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Eastwood thows a leg kick but Macotti checks it and Macotti counters with a takedown into side control. Macotti in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Macotti working the ground and pound but Eastwood is defending the strikes. Macotti is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eastwood has escaped the position, nice work there. Macotti trying to control the action but Eastwood is working from the bottom. Macotti wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eastwood, who protects the arm well.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Thomas throws a right and a left that Tanimoto avoids nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Tanimoto lunges at Thomas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thomas's hand. Tanimoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thomas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tanimoto did well to prevent Thomas getting side control. Thomas passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tanimoto! Tanimoto is working to get back to half guard.

Thomas is pressing down on Tanimoto's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tanimoto is holding on for now. Tanimoto slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Tanimoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Thomas tries to free his leg and advance position but Tanimoto is retaining full guard. Daiki Tanimoto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tanimoto is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Fish. Savolainen does a little dance to reset his feet. Fish lands a high kick!
It looks like Jaakko Savolainen has been cut. Savolainen shoots in and bounces Fish off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Savolainen wants to control from the top but Fish keeps moving. Savolainen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fish manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Savolainen has Fish in his guard.
Savolainen is looking for a triangle but Fish pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savolainen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fish defends it easily.

Koko has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kaayi is landing a low percentage of strikes. Koko fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kaayi thuds his right hand into Koko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Koko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kaayi. Kaayi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kaayi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Koko paws at him with a jab and circles away. Koko throws a head kick but Kaayi moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Hideya Kaayi will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Koko bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Koko connects with a crisp jab. Kaayi doesn't manage to clinch there - Koko circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Koko throws a leg kick but Kaayi sees it coming and checks it nicely. Koko attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Koko misses with a hook. Kaayi slips under a jab. It looked like Kaayi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Koko. Koko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kaayi is out of range. Koko misses with a low kick. As Koko looks to move away, Kaayi throws a big counter combo bu Koko just gets out of the way. Koko with a jab. Koko has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kaayi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Koko. Kaayi is looking to clinch but Koko is avoiding it.
Koko looks like he wants to counter punch here. A slow jab from Koko misses its intended target. Kaayi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kaayi backing away here, and Koko unleashes a leg kick that just misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Kaayi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice defenses there by Koko. Koko fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kaayi on the side of the head. Kaayi lands a nice shot that snaps Koko's head back.
Koko is still on wobbly legs! Can Kaayi finish him? Koko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kaayi. Koko was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Koko circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kaayi tries to close the distance and clinch but Koko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Koko tests Kaayi's chin there with a solid looking shot. Koko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kaayi. Koko cracks Kaayi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kaayi scores with a hook to the body. Koko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kaayi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kaayi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kaayi ducks under a wild hook from Koko. Kaayi feints a jab and as Koko dips his head, Kaayi unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Koko right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Koko falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Kaayi smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hideya Kaayi! Hideya Kaayi is the new light heavyweight champion! Jumping up and down and very excited, Hideya Kaayi waved his t-shirt featuring Kore Fight Nutrition [TG]'s logo in front of the cameras. Michael Koko spoke after the fight, saying 'Koko sad.'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Checker feints a jab promting Kahric to slip. Checker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kahric slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Samir Kahric has been cut. Checker misses with a head kick.
Checker misses with a wild body shot. Kahric has a takedown stuffed. Checker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kahric was well out of range. Poor timing from Checker. Checker looks to land a right hand but Kahric moved out of range. Kahric dives in and grabs Checker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Checker pushes down on Kahric's head and hops out. Kahric takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kahric is breathing heavily. Checker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kahric has time to react. Checker lands an uppercut, right on the button! Kahric tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chin Checker! In his post fight interview, Chin Checker started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
