Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxi Marin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Last of a Dying Breed. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maxi Marin! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Marin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lopez rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Marin's guard! Nice work there by Lopez! Marin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lopez passes into half guard.
Marin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Marin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lopez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Marin defending well though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lopez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Marin sees it coming and defends easily. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lopez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lopez connects with a couple of short punches. Lopez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lopez is in close to Marin's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lopez stands up and waves to Marin to follow him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lopez moves into range and clinches up with Marin.
And that's the end of the fight! Maxi Marin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Castillo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Castillo tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control. Smith perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Smith thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Smith content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith stands up out of the half guard. Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there. Smith gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Smith clinches up against the cage. Smith has Castillo pressed against the cage, preventing Castillo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Smith gets a trip takedown into half guard. Smith is controlling the pace.

Mattila seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Naama tries to bum rush Han with a series of wild strikes but Han uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A punch combination from Naama misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Han gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Naama counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Han! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
