Deuche had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Black is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Deuche Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Black's back instead.

Deuche feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Maurice shoots for a double leg takedown but Wolfgang sprawls well. He's pushed Maurice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wolfgang swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wolfgang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maurice shoots in but no luck this time.

Wolfgang gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Maurice.
Wolfgang throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Maurice blocks it with crossed arms.

Maurice is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wolfgang can't fight it off and eventually Maurice manages to take the fight to the floor. Wolfgang looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Wegesin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
