The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirillov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Speedball swivels and escapes.
Speedball scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Speedball defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kirillov.
Speedball now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kirillov darts in looking for a takedown but Speedball gets double underhooks and turns Kirillov into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Kirillov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kirillov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Speedball looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Speedball tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kirillov cranks the arm and Speedball screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Speedball, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Graves gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Graves is on top in guard.


Rengar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Graves defends well.

Graves stands and steps away. Rengar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rengar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Graves did well to prevent Rengar getting side control.
Graves is pressing down on Rengar's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Graves is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Graves manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rengar manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rengar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Graves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rengar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Graves gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Graves seems to be working for a kimura but Rengar defends the submission attempt.

Graves has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rengar defend it? Graves steps over the head and cranks it - Rengar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Graves!

Pack has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Thomas avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

and Thomas counters with a series of strikes. Pack will be more careful next time no doubt.

Tim Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pack walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Thomas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pack throws a lazy right hand but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Pack shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pack was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Thomas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pack can do to turn this around?

Pack wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thomas, who protects the arm well.
