The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lundgren darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Lundgren.
Rack is trying to control but can't.
Lundgren prevents Rack from improving his position.
Lundgren drops an elbow to the side of Rack's head.
Lundgren not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rack gets full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lundgren trying to control the position from guard on top but Rack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Our spies down at at Black Phoenix 12 elite coaches inform us that Rack has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Lundgren cracks Rack with a solid left hand.

Rack is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lundgren chips away with some ground and pound.
Lundgren throwing strikes but missing.
Lundgren wants to control from the top but Rack keeps moving.
Lundgren throws an elbow that misses. Rack uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lundgren's guard. Nice move by Rack!

Lundgren on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lundgren tries to get out of the position.
Rack is working Lundgren over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Rack fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lundgren.

Lundgren shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rack throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lundgren.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Lundgren. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rack fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lundgren, pushing him back against the cage.

Rack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lundgren throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rack's waist but Rack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lundgren off to one side.
Rack wants to counter with a clinch but Lundgren pushes him away.
Rack tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lundgren defends well and Rack ends up having to push Lundgren into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Rack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lundgren tries to avoid it but Rack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lundgren to the ground. Lundgren escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lundgren stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lundgren wants it to stay on the feet.
Lundgren throws a big counter combination but Rack scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Rack shoots in looking for a takedown but Lundgren manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rack's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rack looks winded!

Rack throws a body shot but no joy.
Rack misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lundgren defends it nicely.
Lundgren fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Rack has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rack lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Lundgren looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lundgren can't get the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brandon Rack will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lundgren tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rack sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lundgren somewhat.
Rack scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rack fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lundgren avoids it really well and circles away.
Lundgren tries to counter by clinching up but Rack breaks away and moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rack feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lundgren's calf.
Rack gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Lundgren counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Lundgren is trying to control. Rack wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Rack is trying to maintain the position but Lundgren is very close to passing his half guard.
Lundgren seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rack is not content to let Lundgren control the position.
Rack keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Rack trying to control but Lundgren postures up.
Lundgren wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rack keeps working.
Lundgren content to control rather than advance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rack controlling the position for now.
Lundgren stalling away here and it's allowed Rack to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Lundgren stands up over Rack, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Rack bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lundgren's guard.

Rack slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rack in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rack trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lundgren's guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rack or perhaps it was just good defense by Lundgren, which made it look bad.
Lundgren appears to be looking for a big counter.
Joe Lundgren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Rack.
Lundgren looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lundgren slaps away a takedown attempt from Rack, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brandon Rack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Lundgren will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lundgren's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Lundgren throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Lundgren tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rack smiles and moves away.
Lundgren takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lundgren wants to sweep but no luck.
Rack tries to free his leg and advance position but Lundgren is retaining full guard.
Rack chips away with some ground and pound.

Rack would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Rack passes into half guard.
Rack passes to side control.
Lundgren is trying to get back to his feet.

Rack decides to stand back up. Rack steps back and let's Lundgren get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rack lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A slapping body kick lands there for Rack.
Rack throws a head kick that half lands.
Rack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lundgren as he avoids it easily.

Lundgren closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Rack breaks the clinch.
Rack throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lundgren counters with a two punch combo.
Rack takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rack clinches up with Lundgren and pushes him back against the cage.

Rack pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rack shoots in for a double leg but Lundgren sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A punch combination from Rack misses.
Rack pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lundgren feinted with a counter takedown.

Lundgren drives through and clinches with Rack against the cage.
Lundgren jumps guard but Rack turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lundgren goes for a takedown attempt but Rack pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Lundgren. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rack closes the distance and pushes Lundgren back into the cage.

Rack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rack moves into the clinch successfully.
Rack tries to score a body lock takedown but Lundgren shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Rack is trying to trip Lundgren. He has hold of a leg but Lundgren is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rack persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lundgren is on top in guard.

Rack has control of Lundgren's left arm, preventing Lundgren from doing any damage.
Rack has momentary wrist control but Lundgren slips an elbow through the middle.
Lundgren stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lundgren is looking to work some ground and pound but Rack has wrist control.
Lundgren keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rack's head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Brandon Rack comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rack has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mario keeps the fight on the outside.
Mario doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Bruckmann throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mario throws a big shot that misses.
Mario throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bruckmann is looking for a counter combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bruckmann. Mario does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mario looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bruckmann tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mario cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bruckmann slips under a jab from Mario.
Mario looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fighters circle momentarily. Mario darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mario throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bruckmann sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bruckmann has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Mario throws a body shot but no joy.
Bruckmann tries to clinch up
and Mario counters with a big right hand! Oh Bruckmann is in trouble here! Mario follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Jensen tries to clinch up but Six pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Jensen to the mat! Jensen covers up and Six unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Lincoln Six started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
