I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Emilio Izturis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Gatame wants to sweep but no luck.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fayth accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fayth trying to control the position from guard on top but Gatame is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gatame has momentary wrist control but Fayth slips an elbow through the middle.

Gatame escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fayth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gatame wants to sweep here but Fayth controlling him for the moment.

Fayth is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gatame swings for the body but Fayth moves out of range.

Fayth loads up on a big right hand but Gatame slips the punch.
Fayth swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fayth misses with a lunging right hand
and Gatame counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Gatame lands with a right hand.
A swing and a miss from Gatame.
Gatame looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fayth is fending him off so far but Gatame persists. Nope, Fayth circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Gatame bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Juji Gatame showed his dominance in that final round.
