The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilkenny takes the fight into the clinch. Nice elbow from Kilkenny. Kilkenny taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Kilkenny is pushing Steffensen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The crowd are getting on Kilkenny's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Kilkenny told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Steffensen is trying to pull guard but Kilkenny has him pressed against the cage. Kilkenny fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Steffensen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Steffensen looks to clinch but Kilkenny throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Steffensen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort dives in and scores a takedown into Humungus's guard. Humungus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Belfort drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Humungus dives on top into guard. Humungus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belfort looking to hit a scissor sweep but Humungus is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belfort keeping moving, preventing Humungus from controlling successfully. Belfort working a defensive guard but Humungus passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Humungus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Belfort is just riding it out for now. Humungus eventually gives up the hold. Humungus is pressing down on Belfort's thigh, looking to free his foot. Belfort is holding on for now. Humungus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

He must have been on the weights. Humungus passes the guard and advances to mount! Humungus looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Belfort sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Humungus is looking for a kimura here.

Kuntry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Petrie as he avoids it easily. Petrie drops Kuntry with a beautiful combination! Kuntry stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Petrie is looking for the KO!
It looks like Lil Kuntry has been cut. Petrie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Petrie feints with a jab and clips Kuntry right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Kuntry is sent crashing into the canvas and Petrie leaps in for the kill! Kuntry tries to get to his feet but Petrie is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Kuntry is in need of a savior and steps in!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Churchill rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bagautdinov counters with a right hand to the body. Churchill throws a body punch but Bagautdinov moves out of range. A big left from Churchill misses. Bagautdinov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Churchill checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Bagautdinov lands a nice shot that snaps Churchill's head back.
That kick from Bagautdinov tenderised Churchill's leg. Churchill is trying to keep his angry face on. Churchill has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Churchill swings for the body but Bagautdinov moves out of range.

Bagautdinov wants to land a leg kick but Churchill is out of range. Bagautdinov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Immortal Technique 13 Elite Coaches in the buildup to the fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Churchill misses with an uppercut. Bagautdinov saw that one coming. Churchill takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bagautdinov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long slips under a jab. Thork misses with a looping left. Long shoots in and bounces Thork off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
