7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pablo Bogdynski! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bogdynski gets cracked with a nice right hand there by De Vos. Bogdynski closes the distance looking to clinch and De Vos counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bogdynski thinking. De Vos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bogdynski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bogdynski drops down looking to force a counter takedown but De Vos defends it well. Bogdynski misses with a body punch
and De Vos counters with a crisp one two that drops Bogdynski! De Vos thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bogdynski to his feet! Bogdynski is in big trouble! Bogdynski gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! De Vos gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bogdynski is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Jonas De Vos thanked the fans post fight for their support. In defeat, Pablo Bogdynski stepped up to the mic, saying 'I have nothing to say. I would like to say sorry for all of my fans and I promise that I will train hardly to give a better fight in the future!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick from Dokken. Dokken takes a swing at Pope's ribcage but misses. Good standup being displayed there by Dokken as he connects with a hook.
It looks like The Pope has been cut. Axl Dokken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pope ducks under a wild hook from Dokken. Pope is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Dokken lands with a kick to the temple. Pope shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Dokken lands with a nice body punch. Dokken throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Dokken ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dokken has Pope up against the cage in a clinch.
Dokken escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheers as Dokken lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pope doesn't seem phased though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dokken scores with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pope doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dokken closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dokken leaning against his opponent.
Dokken wants the takedown. Pope is fighting it off but Dokken persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Pope's guard against the cage. Dokken slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Dokken trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pope's guard. Dokken looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dokken wants to stand but Pope has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dokken engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dokken gets to his feet - Pope follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dokken fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dokken misses with a head kick.

That has opened up The Pope's cut even more. Axl Dokken is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pope keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dokken. Dokken is looking to wear down Pope with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Dokken closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pope jumps guard but Dokken turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Pope wants a takedown but no success here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pope is looking for a takedown. Axl Dokken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Pope. Dokken lands with a light punch inside. Dokken breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dokken comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dokken comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Pope drops his hands momentarily and Dokken needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Pope just on the top of the head. Pope drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Pope - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Axl Dokken! During a confident post fight interview, Axl Dokken thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aikawa blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones misses with a shot to the body and Aikawa counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that. Aikawa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Aikawa seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jones for as long as he can get away with. Aikawa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aikawa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aikawa controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aikawa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Aikawa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jones screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Aikawa! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Love Aikawa! Love Aikawa retains his middleweight title! Love Aikawa gave a mention to Bellum Dominum in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grushevky tries to avoid it but Meier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grushevky to the ground. Grushevky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Grushevky darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Werner Meier has been cut. Good shot there by Grushevky. Grushevky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Meier keeping moving, preventing Grushevky from controlling successfully. Grushevky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meier swivels though and keeps the full guard. Meier had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grushevky defends it easily.

Grushevky gets full guard. Meier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grushevky swivels though and keeps the full guard. Grushevky working for a triangle but Meier defends it easily.

Grushevky sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Meier takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Grushevky misses with a series of wild punches.

Grushevky looking to control and managing it successfully. Meier defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Grushevky. Grushevky with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
