The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tural looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Canthropus jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Canthropus pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tural is out of range and Canthropus settles back down.
Canthropus ducks under a wild hook from Tural.
Canthropus is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Tural throws a leg kick which misses Canthropus's front leg but catches the back leg as Canthropus tries to avoid it.
Tural tries to close the distance and clinch but Canthropus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Canthropus feints a counter leg kick.
Pithe Canthropus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Canthropus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tural can pounce on him.
Tural fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Canthropus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tural.
Canthropus shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Tural lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Canthropus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Tural attempts a counter takedown but Canthropus avoids it well and moves away.

Tural takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Canthropus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tural has Canthropus pressed against the cage. He pushes Canthropus back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Tural throws a beautiful elbow that sends Canthropus crashing to the floor! Tural piles on the pressure with more strikes! Canthropus is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Our winner, Abi Tural, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Clint Lomax.
Well Morris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ventura crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Duberry - the referee stops the clock and Ventura gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Duberry. Ventura manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Nice straight punches there by Duberry. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Duberry.
Ventura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duberry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ventura takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Ventura is rocked!
Ventura looks up at the clock. Bad move! Duberry lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ventura. Duberry pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
