And an attempted straight right on the counter from Roofer! But no joy.
Roofer drops Nickson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nickson looks back up at him and smiles so Roofer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nickson is rocked!
BOOM! Roofer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Nickson. Nickson tries to recover but Roofer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Nickson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Ben Roofer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
