The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gotti tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gotti looks to land a combination. Palmer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The fighters circling - Palmer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gotti defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Palmer. Palmer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gotti pinned against the cage. Gotti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Palmer. Jimmy Gotti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Palmer. Gotti slips a straight right by Palmer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Palmer missing with a left hand there. Gotti was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gotti lands a big uppercut and Palmer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Palmer looks OK. Gotti waves Palmer back to his feet!

Palmer is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Gotti snaps Palmer's head back. Palmer stumbles backwards against the cage. Gotti steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Palmer's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Palmer just didn't come prepared.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sansing shoots in for a double leg but Kamanula sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kamanula looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Sansing fails with the takedown and Kamanula counters with a good, hard body kick but Sansing shrugs it off. Sansing throws an overhand right that lands on Kamanula's shoulder, as Kamanula tries to avoid the shot. Sansing throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kamanula feinted there with a counter leg kick. Sansing takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A head kick from Kamanula lands but Sansing takes it in his stride. Kamanula looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kamanula slips a jab from Sansing. Kamanula throws a counter high kick but Sansing was just alert enough to avoid it. Sansing throws a hook but Kamanula avoids it easily. Sansing throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Kamanula sprawls well initially but Sansing persists and gets the takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kamanula tries to roll over but Sansing keeps him under control. Kamanula wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sansing seems to be working for a kimura but Kamanula defends the submission attempt. Kamanula is looking to escape. Sansing uses his free foot to push down on Kamanula's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kamanula. Sansing with the ground and pound from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kamanula tries to lock up and control but Sansing gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sansing trying to control but Kamanula is having none of it. Sansing with a couple of short strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sansing cracks Kamanula with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kamanula tries to reverse the position but Sansing maintains control. Sansing is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kamanula has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kamanula! Sansing throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kamanula uses it to pass to side control.
Sansing tries to bench press Kamanula off him but Kamanula keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sansing manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sansing wants to get back to full guard. It looks like Kamanula is going to stand back up.
Kamanula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sansing on the ground. Kamanula stalling away here and it's allowed Sansing to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Sansing is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sansing prevents Kamanula from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tamiwe Kamanula will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bodhidharma throws a head kick that misses and Mamba counters with a straight punch to the midsection. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mamba drops his hands momentarily and Bodhidharma takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bodhidharma loads up on a big right hand but Mamba slips the punch. Mamba jabs Bodhidharma right on the nose. Bodhidharma blinks but takes it well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
