2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cameron Khalifa! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khalifa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Khalifa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center. A looping hook to the body misses from Khalifa. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet. Smith lands with a good body shot. Khalifa takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Smith stuns Khalifa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Smith jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Khalifa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Khalifa on the wrong end of a nice hook. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smith's corner calls for a 1-2. Smith obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Khalifa is rocked! Khalifa moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off. Khalifa is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him? Smith lands a jab to the nose. Smith is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Smith jabs Khalifa to the body, keeping him at a distance. Khalifa lands with a good body shot. Khalifa seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khalifa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Smith has time to react. Khalifa looks winded! Khalifa fails in his attempt to clinch. Khalifa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Smith lands the left hand. Smith lands with a right hand. Khalifa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center. Smith works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Smith wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nice straight punches there by Smith. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smith. Smith is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Khalifa swings widly with a right hand
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab. Smith works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smith steps in with a hook that catches Khalifa right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Smith follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Khalifa looks absolutely devastated.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klinkhammer tries to clinch up. Klinkhammer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Veljanovski. Veljanovski shoots in for a takedown but Klinkhammer shows good takedown defense. Veljanovski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Klinkhammer feinted with a counter takedown. Hackenburg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hackenburg cracks Almasy with a big elbow. Almasy struggling a bit here. McLauglin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Peltola loads up on a big right hand but McLauglin slips the punch. McLauglin throws a head kick that Peltola semi-blocks.

Peltola has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fighters circling - Peltola throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Peltola is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McLauglin. McLauglin steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Peltola. Nice jab there from McLauglin. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ei scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lindel doesn't seem bothered though. Ei lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Ei throws a hook but Lindel blocks it. Ei throws a front kick aimed at Lindel's knee but Lindel avoids it well. Lindel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ei sprawls well. Ei wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lindel gets slowly back to his feet. Kylla Ei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikael Lindel. Ei fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lindel is out of range. Lindel shoots in for a takedown but Ei shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
