The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by bk or perhaps it was just good defense by Geerts, which made it look bad.
Geerts slaps away a takedown attempt from bk, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Geerts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Geerts wants it to stay on the feet.
Geerts half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Geert Geerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bk bk.
bk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Geerts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
bk keeping moving, preventing Geerts from controlling successfully.
Geerts has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A telegraphed right hand from Geerts misses the target.
Geerts gets caught napping as bk dives in and scores a takedown. Geerts manages to retain guard.
bk has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Geerts to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! bk is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Geerts pulls down on the head and he's put bk to sleep! This one is all over!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lokren uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Piechocki has time to react.
Piechocki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lokren swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Lokren lands a really nice looking cross but Piechocki seems unphased.
Lokren cracks Piechocki with a hook to the temple - Piechocki is on wobbly legs here! Lokren swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Piechocki falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Lokren wins by TKO!
