The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holloway closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Aikawa drags the fight down to the ground.
Holloway has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Aikawa to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Holloway is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Aikawa pulls down on the head and he's put Holloway to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Love Aikawa! Jumping up and down and very excited, Love Aikawa waved his t-shirt featuring Bellum Dominum's logo in front of the cameras.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales just misses with a punch to the body.
Sweat tries to counter by closing the distance. Morales scores with a decent looking hook. Nice takedown defense from Morales. No joy for Sweat on that attempt. Sweat listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Morales throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Morales throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sweat blocks it with crossed arms. Sweat jumps into guard, dragging Morales to the mat.
Morales decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Morales lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sweat punishes Morales's body with a nice straight punch. A jab from Sweat finds it's way through Morales's defenses. Jab from Sweat. Morales takes a swing at Sweat's ribcage but misses. A countering left hand to the body from Sweat misses. Morales throws a hook to the side of Sweat's head but Sweat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sweat has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Morales gets underhooks to prevent Sweat's takedown attempt.

and Sweat counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sweat lands with a good body shot. Morales throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sweat has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Sweat throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sweat closes this distance looking for a takedown but Morales circles away. Morales displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sweat. Morales changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Sweat cracks Morales with a right hand to the side of the head. Morales with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sweat gets in close and instigates a clinch. Morales throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sweat blocks it with crossed arms. Morales lands a nice elbow from the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chico Morales will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Morales cracks a nice hook into Sweat's ribs.

Morales is rocked! Sweat throws a sloppy head kick and Morales moves out of range easily. Oh Morales is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sweat closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Morales out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker works the jab nicely. Baker scores with a jab to the body. Baker connects with a body shot that sends Dandas's belly button to the back. Dandas looks winded! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Baker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dandas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dandas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. And Dandas tries to counter it with a takedown but Baker pushes his down on his head and steps out. Dandas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jab, jab by Baker - just one landing.
It looks like Bruce Dandas has been cut. Baker finds Dandas's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Dandas flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Baker lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Dandas will be OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hart throws a shot from downtown. Bowen moves away and avoids it. Hart with a nice cross. Hart loads up on a big right hand but Bowen slips the punch. Bowen slips a jab from Hart. Bowen avoids the body shot from Hart.
Bowen moves into the clinch. Hart makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Bowen tightens his grip and picks Hart up, before dumping him to the ground. Hart manages to land in guard. Bowen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bowen trying to control the position from guard on top but Hart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bowen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bowen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hart wants to stand but Bowen is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bowen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hart pulls Bowen in to control the position. Hart looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bowen puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Hart keeping control of the position. Bowen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hart is just riding it out for now. Bowen eventually gives up the hold. Bowen seems to be working for a kimura but Hart defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bowen on the ground. Still in half guard, Bowen seems content to control.

Bowen moves into full mount! Hart won't be happy about that! Bowen misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Bowen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bowen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
