Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Lundgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Estefan Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez has chosen Foo Fighters- My Hero as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Laar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Henderson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Henderson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Forrest Bondurant!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Bondurant does it's job there.
Bondurant cracks Timmons with an open hand slap.
Bondurant keeps the fight on the outside.
Bondurant stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bondurant shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Timmons throws a head kick but Bondurant moves out of range.

Bondurant feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bondurant connects with a nice short shot to Timmons's temple.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
