Hawkins comes into the arena with Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M blaring out of the sound system. Anier jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hawkins walks away with a smile on his face. Anier gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Anier throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hawkins tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anier is in Hawkins's guard.
Anier postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lamont Hawkins.

After the fight, Kevin Coryatt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
