The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berns on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Mauricio Berns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Berns misses with a combination
and Duim counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Berns misses with a takedown and Duim counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Berns takes a jab right on the kisser.
Duim with a nice cross. Jab by Duim. Jab from Duim. Berns misses with a takedown and Duim counters with a thumping low kick. Duim stuns Berns with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Berns fails with the takedown and Duim counters with a nice uppercut. Danny Duim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Berns. Duim lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duim comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Duim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Berns throws a lazy uppercut
and Duim counters with a thumping low kick. Berns with a lazy takedown attempt and Duim counters with a good low kick that Berns was not able to check. A head kick by Berns misses and Duim counters with a lovely straight right hand! Berns looks winded! Berns with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Duim to score with a decent uppercut.
Berns is rocked! Berns takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Berns is still on wobbly legs! Can Duim finish him? Danny Duim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick by Berns misses letting Duim counter with a right hand. Duim lunges at Berns with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Berns's hand. Berns misses with a takedown attempt and Duim makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Berns fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duim circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Berns to the canvas! Berns doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Duim keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Medeiros pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Doe lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Medeiros misses with a body punch
and Doe counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Medeiros throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Medeiros tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doe swats him away and circles back towards the center. Medeiros ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doe moves away. Medeiros looks to throw the jab but Doe is out of range. Medeiros with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Doe to score with a decent uppercut. Medeiros throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Doe drops down looking for a counter takedown but Medeiros sprawls and moves away. Medeiros misses the shot to the body. Medeiros throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Doe sees it coming and avoids it easily. Doe throws a hook but Medeiros avoids it easily. Medeiros takes a swing at Doe's ribcage but misses. Medeiros loads up on a big right hand but Doe slips the punch. Medeiros wants to clinch up but Doe keeps it at a distance. Medeiros jabbing away but nothing is landing. Doe moves out of range as Medeiros strikes. Doe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Medeiros. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Medeiros tries to clinch up. Medeiros is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Doe advances to full mount. We've been hearing good reports from Doe's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Medeiros really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Medeiros taking shots to the head. Shirahama misses with a right hand letting Vladislav counter with a right hand. Vladislav moves out of range as Shirahama strikes. A little jabbing left from Vladislav on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Shirahama scores with a jab. Vladislav acknowledges it with a nod of the head. You can see the frustration on Vladislav's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shirahama cracks Vladislav with a big right hand but Vladislav just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Vladislav is trying to get back to half guard. Vladislav wants to control but Shirahama postures up. Vladislav manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Shirahama controlling the position for now. Vladislav is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Vladislav forces his way into half guard. Vladislav trying to pass the guard but Shirahama defending well. Vladislav is trying to work for a kimura but Shirahama is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Vladislav trying to mount his opponent but Shirahama defends it. Shirahama keeping hold of Vladislav's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are battling for position here. Shirahama manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Shirahama not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vladislav drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shirahama dives on top into guard. Shirahama postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Vladislav wants to stand and escape but Shirahama is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kenichi Shirahama overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Vladislav on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Vladislav controls the position for a moment. Shirahama postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Vladislav on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Vladislav doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Halder closes the distance and pushes Emelianenko back into the cage. Emelianenko scores with a shoulder strike. Halder lands an elbow just above Emelianenko 's eye. Halder lands a body punch. Halder doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Halder tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Emelianenko avoids it. Halder lands a right hand that snaps the head of Emelianenko backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Emelianenko prevents a body shot from Halder. Good body shot from Halder.

Fedor Emelianenko's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Emelianenko takes a shot to the head. Halder lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Emelianenko to his knees! Halder keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Whitehope tries to score a power double leg takedown but Congo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Whitehope somewhat. Whitehope closes the distance and clinches. Whitehope gets a trip takedown into half guard. Whitehope not landing any meaningful shots this time. Whitehope thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Congo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Whitehope scores with a couple of nice shots. Whitehope missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Whitehope thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Congo's head. Congo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Whitehope scores with a couple of nice shots. Whitehope throwing shots but Congo is blocking nicely. Whitehope looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Congo is rocked! Congo takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Whitehope's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Te Huna throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Te Huna counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nice sprawl there from Te Huna as Silva shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrien Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva shoots and misses and Te Huna counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Silva takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Te Huna jabs at Silva's body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Te Huna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Judo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kerjalainen tries to get to full guard but Judo has control of the leg. Kerjalainen trying to control but Judo postures up.
Judo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kerjalainen's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Judo trying to mount his opponent but Kerjalainen defends it. Kerjalainen is not content to let Judo control the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Keijo Kerjalainen will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Jack Judo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Judo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
