Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raja Wijaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Birbiglia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Wills turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wills manages to end up in side control.

Wills throws an elbow but Tran slips to the side and avoids it well.
Wills is looking to take a break and control but Tran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tran ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tran no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Joe Wills overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wills postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tran is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wills, into his guard.

Suckerpunch lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Celasquez sprawling to the canvas. Suckerpunch follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Celasquez hang on?

It looks like Vain Celasquez has been cut.

Suckerpunch is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Celasquez manages to get to full guard.
Celasquez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Prathamesh Randhawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randhawa comes to the cage accompanied by Shelter - Message of the Bhagavat. Andrew Rock told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rock drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Randhawa is looking to regain half guard here but Rock keeps moving and retains side control.
Rock trying to control the position but Randhawa is working away.
Randhawa manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rock's best efforts.
Randhawa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rock prevents Randhawa from improving his position.
Rock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Randhawa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rock is posturing up here but Randhawa has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rock tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rock has to tap! Slick submission there by Randhawa!

Prathamesh Randhawa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
