Handel tries to reverse the position but dirk maintains control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Handel tries to get to full guard but dirk has control of the leg.

dirk stands and throws Handel's legs to the side, diving into side control.
dirk scores with a couple of short elbows.
Handel is looking for a sweep.
dirk slows the pace down.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
dirk lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Handel down.
dirk staying calm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Handel is trying to get back to his feet.

dirk decides to stand back up.
Handel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Handel wants it to stay on the feet.
dirk tries to clinch but Handel is having none of it.
Handel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
dirk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Handel.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wilfried Handel will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

dirk with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

dirk is posturing up here but Handel has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! dirk tries to roll out but it's too tight and dirk has to tap! Slick submission there by Handel!
