3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Optimus Prime! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soderstrom connects with a solid leg kick. Soderstrom bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Soderstrom throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Prime's head. Prime is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Soderstrom. Good leg kick by Soderstrom there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Prime throws a lazy body kick and Soderstrom counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Soderstrom is looking to clinch but Prime is avoiding it.
Prime takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Optimus Prime has been cut. A combination from Soderstrom does no damage. A good leg kick by Soderstrom. Soderstrom closes the distance and clinches up with Prime, looking for a takedown. Soderstrom pushes Prime against the cage but Prime circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Prime gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Soderstrom. Soderstrom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Prime.
Prime keeps the fight on the outside. Soderstrom is looking to clinch but Prime is avoiding it.
Prime throws a head kick that misses and Soderstrom counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Prime displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Soderstrom throws out the jab. Soderstrom moves in looking to clinch but Prime pushes him off. Soderstrom buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Prime has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Soderstrom. Soderstrom tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Prime paws at him with a jab and circles away. Soderstrom throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rasmus Soderstrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prime tries to move into range but Soderstrom moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A slapping leg kick lands for Soderstrom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Soderstrom lands a right hand. Prime tries to break free but Soderstrom pushes him back against the cage. Prime takes an elbow to the temple. Soderstrom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Soderstrom unloads a knee to the mid-section. Soderstrom gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Soderstrom landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

The cut above Optimus Prime's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Soderstrom digs a right hand underneath Prime's ribcage. Prime let out a lung full of air as it connected. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Prime takes a knee right on the jaw!

An inside leg kick lands from Soderstrom. Soderstrom lands with a nice body kick. Soderstrom lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Prime at a distance.

Soderstrom uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Prime. Soderstrom smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Soderstrom, as that shot connected.
The fight stays on the outside here - Soderstrom looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Soderstrom thuds his shin into the meat of Prime's side. Soderstrom lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Soderstrom.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Soderstrom scores with a push kick. Prime takes one to the chin there. Soderstrom looks to land a combination but Prime avoids it well. Soderstrom connects with a high kick.
Optimus Prime's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Soderstrom fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Prime, pushing him back against the cage. Prime takes an elbow to the forehead.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Optimus Prime's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Knox. A clash of legs there as Hammer blocks the low kick. A big left from Hammer misses. A punch combination from Knox misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knox ducks under a wild hook from Hammer. Hammer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Emil Hammer has been cut. Knox avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caufield walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Mack misses with a wild body shot. Mack looks to land a right hand but Caufield moved out of range. Caufield shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nice combo by Mack! Oh, that's hurt him - Caufield falls to the canvas and Mack follows him into side control.

It looks like Holden Caufield has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mack lands a few punches from side control. Caufield is still in real trouble! Can Mack finish him? Mack lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Caufield! Mack senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Caufield out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

He has the arm isolated but Abadi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Chisley working away.

Abadi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Chisley off and has taken his back! Abadi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Chisley has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Chisley trying to control the hands but Abadi breaks the grip. Abadi has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Chisley's body.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chisley is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Abadi off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. I really don't envy Chisley right now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chisley manages to reverse the position and now he's in Abadi's guard. Nice work there by Chisley.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chisley, into his guard. Abadi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chisley is breathing heavily. Chisley throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

It looks like he's just sitting there. Abadi trying to mount his opponent but Chisley defends it. Abadi trying to control the action but Chisley is working from the bottom. Abadi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Abadi avoids the attempt from Chisley to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chisley wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Abadi keeps control of the position as Chisley tries to break free.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Chisley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abadi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Abadi with a poor takedown and Chisley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Chisley wants to work for an arm triangle but Abadi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Abadi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chisley has escaped the position, nice work there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joel Abadi will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Freeman shoots in for a takedown but Grimaldi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Grimaldi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mike Grimaldi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huey Freeman. Grimaldi stalks Freeman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colossus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Colossus cracks Santana with a good jab. Santana thows a body shot but no joy. Colossus ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Colossus lands with an overhand left. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Colossus, as that shot connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Colossus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Santana's guard. Colossus is stalling in the full guard. Santana isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Colossus stacks Santana on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. Great action here. Fairtex dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Harrell. That did some damage! Fairtex doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fairtex walks into a jab. Harrell connects with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good shot there by Harrell. Harrell lands a jab. Fairtex attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Nice straight punches there by Harrell. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Harrell. Nice uppercut there from Harrell. Shelton Harrell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Harrell avoids the head kick by Fairtex.
Harrell cracks Fairtex with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Fairtex takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fairtex tries to clinch up and Harrell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Harrell thuds a left hand into Fairtex's body.

A head kick by Fairtex misses and Harrell counters with a stiff right hand. Harrell scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Fairtex thows a leg kick but Harrell checks it and Harrell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fairtex thinking. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fairtex darts in trying to clinch and Harrell counters with a nice body shot. Harrell fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Shelton Harrell showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harrell, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
