The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Gambin.
Gambin dives in and scores a takedown into Dudek's guard. Dudek is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gambin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gambin postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gambin lands a couple of digs. Gambin passes into half guard. Dudek won't allow Gambin to pass to mount. Gambin passes to full mount! Gambin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gambin swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alcantara misses with a body shot
and Galvao counters with a stiff right hand. Galvao lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Alcantara backs up against the cage.
It looks like Ruben Alcantara has been cut. Galvao shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Galvao was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Galvao wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alcantara keeps working. Galvao working away. Alcantara avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Galvao. Alcantara on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Alcantara tries to get out of the position. Galvao tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Galvao has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Alcantara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Galvao on the ground. Galvao working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Alcantara gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alcantara avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Galvao. Galvao wants to free his trapped foot but Alcantara is holding on for dear life with his legs. Galvao wants to take a breather but Alcantara is having none of it. Galvao maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Alcantara could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Galvao has cracked it and Alcantara is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Galvao!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Andre Galvao! After winning the bout, Andre Galvao thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gangmanstyle lands a nice shot to the body.
Grey fails with a takedown attempt. Gangmanstyle feinted with a counter takedown. Grey dives in for a single leg takedown but Gangmanstyle sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kane Grey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gangmanstyle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grey's guard. Gangmanstyle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've been hearing that Gangmanstyle has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Grey wants to stand up but Gangmanstyle is controlling him. Gangmanstyle trying to control the position from guard on top but Grey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gangmanstyle with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gangmanstyle postures up in Grey's guard and throws a big left but Grey blocks it. Gangmanstyle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gangmanstyle wants to control from the top but Grey keeps moving. Gangmanstyle drops back, looking for a kneebar! Grey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Grey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Grey! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gangmanstyle pushes Grey away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Grey gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gangmanstyle tries to bum rush Grey with a series of wild strikes but Grey uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nice takedown defense from Gangmanstyle. No joy for Grey on that attempt. Obban Gangmanstyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kane Grey. Gangmanstyle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Grey but Grey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Excellent takedown into side control there by Gangmanstyle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
You can see the frustration on Grey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Grey is trying to get back to his feet. Gangmanstyle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gangmanstyle throws an elbow but Grey slips to the side and avoids it well. Gangmanstyle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gangmanstyle is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Grey looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gangmanstyle gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Grey is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gangmanstyle lets go of the hold and Grey can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Ongka. Ongka is looking to counter with head kicks. Ongka throws a leg kick that is checked enabling Lin to counter with a crisp jab. Lin fails to land with a series of punches.
Ongka feinted there with a counter leg kick. Lin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Ongka Ongka has been cut. Ongka avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ongka Ongka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ongka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ongka misses with a low kick. Ongka tries a head kick but it misses.
Ongka wants to land a leg kick but Lin is out of range. Ongka misses with a low kick as Lin jumps back. A head kick misses from Ongka. Lin follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Ongka's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lin under the eye. Lin throws a nice head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ongka throws a sloppy head kick and Lin moves out of range easily. Lin throws a shot to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Lin scores with a nice body kick.
Ongka is breathing heavily. Nice combo by Lin! Oh, that's hurt him - Ongka falls to the canvas and Lin follows him into side control.
Ongka is rocked! Lin is trying to get an arm triangle but Ongka is defending well. Oh Ongka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ongka, who protects the arm well. Lin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ongka's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ongka wants to get back to his feet but Lin drags him back down. Ongka is trying to get back to half guard. Lin tries for a kimura but Ongka is defending well. Ongka regains half guard there - taking advantage of Lin's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Lin wants to work for an arm triangle but Ongka is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lin is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lin is looking to take a break and control but Ongka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lin moves nicely into side control. Ongka is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ongka sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lin tries for a kimura but Ongka is defending well. Lin wants to control but Ongka is keeping him busy. Ongka is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lin asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ping Lin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ongka Ongka's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ongka looking to score a takedown here. Lin is defending well but Ongka drives through and ends up in Lin's guard. Lin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ongka defends it easily. Ongka is fighting to break Lin's control of his arms but Lin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ongka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ongka defends well.

Ongka takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ongka fails with a takedown attempt. Lin throws a right and a left that both miss. Lin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ongka momentarily.

Ongka fails to land the takedown. Lin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ongka circles away quickly and effectively. Ongka takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ongka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lin throws a hook to the side of Ongka's head but Ongka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ongka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Lin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Lin stalls. Ongka taking a breather. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Lin misses with a body kick. Lin blocks a low kick nicely. Lin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ongka looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Ongka pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lin is out of range and Ongka settles back down. Lin appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Lin digs a good body shot into Ongka's ribs. Ongka takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ongka on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lin. Lin obviously looking to wear him down.
Ping Lin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Lin lands with a nice body punch. Ongka gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lin. Ongka has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ongka attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Lin with the counter takedown but Ongka avoids it easily. Ongka throws a sloppy head kick and Lin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ongka is looking to chop away at Lin's legs. Ongka Ongka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lin cracks Ongka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Ping Lin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Pozsar counters with a leg kick. Pozsar misses with a low kick as James jumps back. James swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Pozsar needs to keep his hands up - James had a free shot at his head there. James connects with a slap. That's one minute gone in the round. A shot to the liver by James. Beautiful body shot. James throws a jab but it's blocked by Pozsar. Pozsar moves away from the strike by James. Pozsar counters with a body kick. Alex James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pozsar feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to James's calf. James misses with an uppercut. Pozsar saw that one coming. James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pozsar's waist but Pozsar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex James. That's going to take a lot out of him. James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. James wants to land a leg kick but Pozsar is out of range.
