The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Tyrannosaurus.
Pouncey throws a lazy uppercut
and Tyrannosaurus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A shot to the body from Pouncey misses
and Tyrannosaurus counters with a stiff right hand.
Tyrannosaurus tries a low kick but Pouncey avoids it.
Pouncey steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tyrannosaurus. That one must have hurt.
Tyrannosaurus throws a jab but it's blocked by Pouncey.
A counter left hand to the body from Pouncey misses its target.
Pouncey has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tyrannosaurus.

Jitsu is trying to work for a kimura but Tilthammer is defending well.

Jitsu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tilthammer defends it well.

Jitsu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tilthammer is just riding it out for now. Jitsu eventually gives up the hold.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jiu Jitsu will probably get the nod.

Tilthammer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
