We've been informed that Fretwell has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Harry Hate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hate ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fretwell moves away.

Fretwell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fretwell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

He tries to recover but Taparzo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bamh is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

After winning the bout, Luca Taparzo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Ngoc Bamh stepped up to the mic, saying 'No worries, folks. Given my opponent's history of repeatedly testing positive for performance enhancing drugs, I'm confident this fight will be ruled a No-Contest and he'll be suspended yet again.'.
