Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damien Ching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raynor Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ching's entrance music is E Ala E. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Damien Ching!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raynor Harris!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ching looks to throw a body kick
and Harris counters with a three punch combo that has Ching backing up. Ching nods at Harris to acknowledge the strikes.
Harris fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Harris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harris throws a counter combo.

Harris fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ching, pushing him back against the cage.
Harris is pressed up against the cage. Ching has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harris down to the mat. Harris avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ching tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Harris feints a jab promting Ching to slip. Harris then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ching slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ching is looking to clinch but Harris is avoiding it.
Ching throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ching doesn't manage to clinch there - Harris circles away.
As Ching backs off Harris throws a huge counter combo but Ching manages to avoid it all.
Ching fails to land the takedown.

Harris shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harris showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Harris lands with a punch from half guard.
Ching is refusing to be controlled, as Harris sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ching won't allow Harris to pass to mount.

Harris throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ching was covering up waiting for the punch and Harris finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Harris postures up in Ching's guard and throws a big left but Ching blocks it.
Harris lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Harris looks to land a combination. Ching sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ching definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Harris throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Harris clinches up against the cage.
Harris is trying to push Ching away but Ching has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ching has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Harris after a bit of a struggle.

Harris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Harris shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ching is trying to defend but Harris finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ching has one foot on Harris's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ching dives in for a single leg takedown but Harris sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Harris jumps guard but Ching stands there with Harris around his waist. Harris gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ching is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Harris is defending well for now.

Ching seems to have got his legs back now.
Ching is looking to clinch but Harris is avoiding it.

Oooooh!!! Harris has knocked Ching down with a huge combo! Harris steps away and waves a wobbly Ching back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Harris lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Ching can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Harris and Ching drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Harris.

Long gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gunner to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Gunner postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Long's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gunner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Oh but Long is tightening it up a little... Gunner has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gunner reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gunner taps out! Nice BJJ there by Long!
