The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eash throws a jab when Davis was well out of range. Eash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eash throws a jab but it's blocked by Davis. Eash connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Hector Davis has been cut. Eash fails to land with a series of punches.
Eash throws a jab when Davis was well out of range. A head kick by Eash misses and Davis moves into the clinch. Davis can't find room to land a body shot as Eash controls the action.
Eash struggles to land a body shot inside as Davis controls his hands.
Eash tries to land a knee to the head but Davis blocks with his arms.
Davis pulls guard successfully.
Eash trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eash is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control. Davis has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Eash doesn't defend quickly enough and Davis has managed to lock this one up! Can Eash escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Davis on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hector Davis! Hector Davis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pelaez scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Pelaez's coach down at Black Hand Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pelaez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Pelaez lands a big head kick that sends Cowell tumbling to the mat! Pelaez takes a step backwards and waves Cowell back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cowell is rocked!
It looks like Simon Cowell has been cut. Cowell has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pelaez. Oh Cowell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cowell is breathing heavily. Pelaez scores with a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pelaez lands with a big right hook that stumbles Cowell - he's out on his feet here! Pelaez follows up with another monster hook that separates Cowell from consciousness! Cowell falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Pelaez stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mackenzie dodges the punch combination from Kid.
Mackenzie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mackenzie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mackenzie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kid bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mackenzie's head backwards. Kid lands a glancing blow to the side of Mackenzie's head. Mackenzie throws a front kick aimed at Kid's knee but Kid avoids it well. Kid scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Kid has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Reddit Heroes in the buildup to the fight. Kid throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kid with a nice cross. Ugly Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mackenzie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kid! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kid manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mackenzie's best efforts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mackenzie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mackenzie. Kid wants to get back to his feet. Mackenzie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Mackenzie is stalling here. Kid is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mackenzie seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kid has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Kid will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kid tries for a kimura but Mackenzie is defending well. Kid lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mackenzie is looking for a sweep. Kid working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Mackenzie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kid trying to control the position but Mackenzie is working away. Mackenzie is looking to regain half guard here but Kid keeps moving and retains side control. Mackenzie can't do much from the bottom here. Mackenzie tries to buck Kid off but Kid is having none of it. Mackenzie manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Kid prevents Mackenzie from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kid landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Mackenzie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kid missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kid working Mackenzie over with strikes. Kid is looking for a kimura but Mackenzie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kid to get the leverage. Kid thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kid wants to control but Mackenzie is keeping him busy. Mackenzie actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kid is keen to just control but Mackenzie is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mackenzie looking for submissions off his back. Mackenzie is trying to control but can't.

Kid is controlling the pace.
Kid wants to pass the guard but Mackenzie is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kid is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mackenzie has managed to free his arm - good work. Kid is nestled in close to Mackenzie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ugly Kid dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kid connects with a jab. Kid slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Kid slips a jab from Mackenzie. Mackenzie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kid lands a right hook to the body.
Kid misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mackenzie.
Mackenzie with the counter takedown but Kid avoids it easily. Mackenzie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kid slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Kid is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Mackenzie fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mackenzie swings widly with a right hand
and Kid counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mackenzie is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kid moves into range and clinches up with Mackenzie. Mackenzie is still on wobbly legs! Can Kid finish him? Kid is leaning against Mackenzie and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mackenzie seems to have recovered his senses. Kid drops Mackenzie with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mackenzie! Kid dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Nice BJJ displayed there by Todd.

As Yip looks to move away, Preuss throws a big counter combo bu Yip just gets out of the way. Preuss scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Franky Yip has been cut. Yip lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Yip scores with a takedown into Preuss's guard. Yip seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Preuss wants to stand but Yip is controlling the position. Yip pushing down on Preuss's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Yip wants to pass to mount but Preuss is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yip decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Preuss keeps the fight on the outside. Yip slips a jab and a cross from Preuss.
Yip tries to close the distance and clinch up but Preuss swats him away and circles back towards the center. No joy there for Yip, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Preuss gets tackled into the cage by Yip. Yip maintains the clinch. Yip is trying to pull guard but Preuss turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Preuss breaks the clinch.
Preuss throws a sloppy head kick and Yip counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Preuss wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Yip manages to pass to side control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Yip looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yip moves into full mount! Preuss won't be happy about that! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yip wants to finish this one by submission but Preuss is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yip. Yip landing punches. Yip sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Yip lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yip tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Yip goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Preuss turns into him and now he's in Yip's guard.
Preuss knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yip on the ground. Yip pulls Preuss in to control the position. Yip looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Yip wriggles free and stands up. Preuss throws a nice looking combination but Yip bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Yip wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Yip closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Preuss quickly recovers to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yip decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yip scores with a kick to the body.

Caio Preuss is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Preuss rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yip moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Preuss throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Yip changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Preuss misses with a two punch combination.
A countering left hand to the body from Yip misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yip, as that shot connected.
Preuss tries to keep at a distance but Yip has taken the fight into the clinch. Preuss tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Preuss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Yip wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franky Yip dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Preuss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yip. Caio Preuss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yip misses with a body kick. Yip changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Preuss takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Preuss swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Preuss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yip throws a right and a left that both miss. Yip fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Preuss sprawls well initially but Yip persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Yip working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Well, if Yip is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Preuss on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Preuss tries to get out of the position. Yip moves nicely into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yip stands up. Yip has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Preuss throws a right and a left that both miss. Preuss works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A jab from Yip finds it's way through Preuss's defenses. Preuss will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Preuss throws a right and a left that Yip avoids nicely. Yip throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Yip scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yip has closed the distance and engaged Preuss in a clinch.
Yip breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Preuss swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yip shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Yip looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Preuss is in trouble now - Yip has advanced to mount! Yip is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Preuss displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Preuss on the wrong end of a nice hook. Preuss throws a series of punches but Yip moves out of range. Yip drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Preuss is looking to get back to his feet here but Yip is keeping cool and he's managed to take Preuss's back. Yip is cranking Preuss's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Preuss! He's tightened the choke and Preuss is tapping out!

Katasonov tries to counter with a clinch but Patsatzoglou shakes him off and moves away. Katasonov scores with a nice head shot. Katasonov avoids the body shot from Patsatzoglou.

Patsatzoglou takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Patsatzoglou misses with a body shot.
Patsatzoglou throws a right hand that Katasonov ducks under and follows up with a left that Katasonov also avoids with ease. Katasonov wants to counter with a clinch but Patsatzoglou pushes him away. Patsatzoglou misses with a right hand and Katasonov counters with a head kick that drops Patsatzoglou to the mat! Patsatzoglou scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Patsatzoglou is rocked! Katasonov throws a series of punches but Patsatzoglou moves out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Patsatzoglou throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Katasonov drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Patsatzoglou's head, knocking him out cold! Katasonov is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
