Moraes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
O Connell is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw O Connell working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Gacov tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gatmaitan manages to circle out of the way.
Gatmaitan cracks Gacov with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Baco Gacov has been cut.
Gatmaitan lands with a right and another and another! Gacov is in big trouble! Gatmaitan lands again and this time it's lights out for Gacov! A quality knockout there for Gatmaitan.
