Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rico tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sammich defends well and Rico ends up having to push Sammich into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Rico is still on wobbly legs! Can Sammich finish him?
Sammich throws a sloppy head kick and Rico moves out of range easily.
It seemed like Rico was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Some bone on bone action there as Rico checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Rico seems to have recovered his senses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rico crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sammich - the referee stops the clock and Rico gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sammich. Rico manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rico throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rico swings for the body but Sammich moves out of range.

Sammich swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sammich is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rico.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sammich. Rico shrugs it off though.
Rico avoids a kick to the body.
Sammy Sammich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sammich feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rico sprawling to the canvas! Rico rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sammich finish him?!

A looping hook to the body misses from Sammich. Rico does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sammich tries to land a front kick but Rico steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Leija has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Highjack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
