The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosciuszko fails to land with a series of punches.
Kosciuszko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ken throws a right and a left that Kosciuszko avoids nicely.

Ken drops Kosciuszko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kosciuszko looks back up at him and smiles so Ken waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Bartek Kosciuszko has been cut.
Kosciuszko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ken throws a series of punches but Kosciuszko moves out of range.
Ken closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Kosciuszko out cold! Kosciuszko corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Jagerkokov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hart.

Jagerkokov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jagerkokov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hart's guard.

Bean pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Romero feints the counter takedown.
No luck for Romero with that takedown attempt.
Romero tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bean paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Bean was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Bean is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Romero dives into side control.
Bean is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Bobby B's Gem that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bean is fighting off a takedown attempt but Romero is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bean to the mat. Bean regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Yoel Romero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ryu instigates a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mendez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryu is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Mendez hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Bowen shoots in for a takedown but Hendo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bowen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hendo can't fight it off and eventually Bowen manages to take the fight to the floor. Hendo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kane is not content to let Aikawa control the position.
