The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustav displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
Gustav lands a really nice looking cross but Gracie seems unphased.

Are you kidding me?! Herman ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Chomp clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Futter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McLegs finds it's way round the side to connect with Futter's head.
McLegs tests Futter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Futter walks into a left hand.
McLegs lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McLegs scores with a nice strike.
Futter tries to move into range but McLegs moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Futter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Futter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Futter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Futter happy to just control the position for now.
It looks like Futter might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Futter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Futter is working to tighten his grip on McLegs's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McLegs has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Futter is really squeezing tight and eventually McLegs passes out! Futter breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After the fight, Buck Futter was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

I think Jaqquard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rebirthing-Skillet. Hemi has chosen Satyricon - Fuel For Hatred as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Devin Jaqquard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaqquard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hemi manages to avoid it.
Hemi throws out a counter right but Jaqquard avoids it with no problem.
Jaqquard lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hemi at a distance.
Hemi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hemi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jaqquard lands a lovely overhand right.
Hemi throws a jab when Jaqquard was well out of range.
Jaqquard half committed to a counter leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by Jaqquard. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jaqquard.
Jaqquard throws out a leg kick but Hemi moves out of range and Jaqquard only half commits.
Jaqquard loads up on a big right hand but Hemi slips the punch.
Hemi is looking to clinch but Jaqquard is avoiding it.
Hemi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A left and a right from Hemi both land. Nice combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jaqquard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hemi.
Jaqquard went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Jaqquard slips a straight right by Hemi.
Jaqquard was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Devin Jaqquard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jaqquard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jaqquard's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Hemi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jaqquard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hemi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jaqquard has picked Hemi up and slammed him! Hemi can't keep hold of the triangle and Jaqquard manages to pass to side control!

Jaqquard in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Hemi is not content to let Jaqquard control the position.
Jaqquard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hemi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hemi is trying to maintain the position but Jaqquard is very close to passing his half guard.
Well, if Jaqquard is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jaqquard has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hemi is bucking up trying to escape but Jaqquard cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Jursllla wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Offley has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Planet Granite. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Offley is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jursllla has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jursllla!
