The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brannon throws a lazy right hand but McCrystal sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. McCrystal has managed to clinch.
McCrystal lands with a short head shot on the inside. Brannon lands a shoulder strike. Brannon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McCrystal after a bit of a struggle. Brannon is defending well against a takedown attempt. Good body shot from McCrystal.
McCrystal is working for takedown but Brannon is calmly controlling the position for now. McCrystal breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brannon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McCrystal looks like he wants to counter punch here. McCrystal drives through and clinches with Brannon against the cage.

McCrystal has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Brannon has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. McCrystal has Brannon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. McCrystal pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Brannon tumbling to the mat - McCrystal dives into Brannon's guard. McCrystal wants to control from the top but Brannon keeps moving.

Brannon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCrystal's guard. Brannon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brannon wants to control from the top but McCrystal keeps moving. Brannon postures up in McCrystal's guard and throws a big left but McCrystal blocks it. Brannon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCrystal swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brannon drops back, looking for a kneebar! McCrystal looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McCrystal looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McCrystal! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCrystal swings around for an armbar but Brannon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McCrystal's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brannon wants to control from the top but McCrystal keeps moving. Brannon throws an elbow that misses. McCrystal uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brannon's guard. Nice move by McCrystal! Brannon trying to control the position.

A telegraphed right hand from Brannon misses the target. Brannon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Brannon misses with a double jab.

McCrystal moves out of range as Brannon strikes. Fredric Brannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brannon dives in for a single leg takedown but McCrystal sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Brannon tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCrystal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brannon somewhat. Brannon throws an overhand right that lands on McCrystal's shoulder, as McCrystal tries to avoid the shot. McCrystal doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Danga de danga de dang - McCrystal scores with a four punch combination! Brannon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Brannon ducks right into an uppercut from McCrystal. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCrystal misses with a takedown and Brannon counters with a stiff right hand. McCrystal fails to land the takedown. McCrystal has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McCrystal takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McCrystal uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brannon. McCrystal throws a counter combo. Brannon lands a two punch combo.
McCrystal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McCrystal jabs Brannon to the body, keeping him at a distance. Brannon throws a shot from downtown. McCrystal moves away and avoids it. McCrystal misses with the combination.
Brannon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Brannon throws out a token jab with nothing on it. McCrystal moves in looking to clinch but Brannon pushes him off. That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by McCrystal. Brannon is trying to buck McCrystal off. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. McCrystal sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Brannon is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
McCrystal slows the pace down. Brannon parries the strikes from McCrystal easily there. McCrystal is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brannon to escape.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fredric Brannon. I think McCrystal has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks like Lendog Hunter has been cut. Jackson steps in with a hook that catches Hunter right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jackson follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hunter looks absolutely devastated.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nova on his heels. He'll look to pass Nova's guard now, I'm sure. Roberts slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Roberts wants to pass the guard but Nova is keeping the position. Roberts seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Roberts might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nova uses from the top position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roberts keeping moving, preventing Nova from controlling successfully. Nova is looking to stand up but Roberts won't let him. Roberts throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nova is sitting in close to Roberts's body. Roberts has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Nova is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Nova is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Otzs connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Wells slips a jab from Otzs. The fighters circling - Wells throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wells slips a jab from Otzs. Otzs throws a body punch but Wells moves out of range. Good standup being displayed there by Otzs as he connects with a hook. Ugiagugok Otzs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Otzs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wells scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Ugiagugok Otzs has been cut. Wells connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Otzs looks for a takedown but Wells sprawls well. Wells tries a quick counter leg kick but Otzs is wise to it. Otzs bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wells's head. Wells misses with a straight right. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wells tries to bum rush Otzs with a series of wild strikes but Otzs uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wells avoids the body shot from Otzs.
Otzs throws a shot from downtown. Wells moves away and avoids it. Wells lands with a kick to the ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Otzs ducks right into an uppercut from Wells. The fighters circling - Otzs throws out the jab but it was never going to land. It seemed like Wells was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Wells misses with a hook. Otzs ducked under it nicely. A clash of legs there as Otzs blocks the low kick. Otzs scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Otzs crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wells - the referee stops the clock and Otzs gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wells. Otzs manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Otzs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Otzs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Otzs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ooooh that was huge! Wells knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Khan bounces back off the cage towards Corinthos, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Corinthos lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Corinthos celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ki Won gets the takedown into side control. Pilou is trying to get back to half guard. Pilou tries to escape but Ki Won is in control. Ki Won is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pilou is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. An elbow from Ki Won crashes against the mat.

But no, Pilou has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ki Won but great work by Pilou. Pilou has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Ki Won is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Ki Won is looking to reverse the position. Ki Won gets back to half guard. Ki Won actively working from the bottom here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitzgerald clobbers Morbolev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Fitzgerald swings widly with a right hand
and Morbolev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Morbolev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fitzgerald circles away quickly and effectively. Fitzgerald moves forwards but Morbolev connects with a nice, crisp jab. Morbolev lands a nice hook to Fitzgerald's body. Fitzgerald takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Morbolev ducks under a wild hook from Fitzgerald. Morbolev throws a low kick but Fitzgerald moves out of range easily. Fitzgerald throws a leg kick and Morbolev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fitzgerald lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morbolev circles away quickly and effectively. Fitzgerald misses with a head kick.
Fitzgerald takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fitzgerald misses the jab. Morbolev lands a jab to Fitzgerald's midsection. Morbolev tried to score with a low kick but Fitzgerald checks it. Nice uppercut lands for Fitzgerald. That snapped Morbolev's head back.
