16 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Namiska Button ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Hildebrand Coenan! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Button gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Coenan misses with a hook. Button ducked under it nicely. Button throws a big counter combination but Coenan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Button seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Coenan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Button takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Coenan lands with a nice body punch. Coenan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Coenan not doing much here.
Coenan throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Button to regain full guard. Coenan is looking to pass into half guard but Button pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Button is in guard. Coenan looking for a sweep. Not yet Coenan, not yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coenan looks to land a left hand but Button moved out of range nicely. Good exchange - Coenan coming out on top. Coenan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Button .
Button appears to be looking for a big counter. Coenan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Button moves away. Hildebrand Coenan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Button steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Coenan.

Coenan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Coenan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Button . Button has his head snapped back a nice jab. Coenan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Button appears to be looking for a big counter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Button takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Coenan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Button 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Coenan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Button scrambles back to his feet. Coenan darts in looking for a takedown but Button gets double underhooks and turns Coenan into the cage. Button was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Coenan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Button seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A jab lands there for Coenan. Coenan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Coenan lands a nice looking body shot.

Button seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Coenan throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Button went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Coenan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Button had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Nice jab there from Coenan. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot to the body from Coenan misses and Button counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Coenan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Button 's head. A cross from Coenan lands. Coenan lands a right hook to the body.

Hildebrand Coenan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Button staggers backwards, shaken.

Coenan throws a lazy right hand but Button sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Button throws a big counter combination but Coenan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Coenan cracks Button with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Coenan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. It looked like Button was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Coenan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Button manages to avoid it. Button has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Button there as he acknowledges the shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coenan lands a slapping body shot.

Coenan has Button pressed against the cage, preventing Button from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Coenan lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Button breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A jab lands there for Coenan. Button avoids the body shot from Coenan.

Coenan connects with a body shot that sends Button 's belly button to the back. Coenan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coenan shoots in but Button avoids the takedown attempt easily. Coenan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Button moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Coenan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Button 's hands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coenan throws an overhand right that lands on Button 's shoulder, as Button tries to avoid the shot. Button is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Coenan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Button moves away. Coenan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Button was covering up waiting for the punch and Coenan finishes the takedown easily into guard. Coenan is standing up over Button . Button looks to escape but Coenan dives into side control.

Coenan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Button pushes Coenan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Coenan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hildebrand Coenan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Button is letting Coenan control him for a moment. An elbow from Coenan crashes against the mat.
Namiska Button has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Coenan swings around for an armbar but Button sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Coenan's guard. Coenan has Button pulled in close to control his posture. Coenan controls Button momentarily but Button frees himself.
And that's the end of the fight! Hildebrand Coenan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Coenan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onkel Bergmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lop Lopp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bergmann kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Never Give Up. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lop Lopp was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bergmann manages to end up in side control. Bergmann trying to control the action but Lopp is working from the bottom. Lopp is trying to control Bergmann's posture but Bergmann avoids it. Bergmann content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Bergmann controlling from the top position. Bergmann throws a big elbow that misses. Lopp keeping moving, preventing Bergmann from controlling successfully.

Bergmann postures up in Lopp's guard and throws a big left but Lopp blocks it. Bergmann works over Lopp with some ground and pound from guard. Lopp tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lopp is looking for a triangle but Bergmann pushes his legs off easily.

Lopp throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bergmann escapes and throws Lopp's legs to the side, diving into side control! Lopp sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Lopp landing a few short strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bergmann takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Lopp is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Bergmann has latched onto it... Big trouble! Bergmann pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Lopp is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Bergmann!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Onkel Bergmann! Onkel Bergmann decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. Vlad The Impaler spoke after the fight, saying 'The fight shouldve been for the title!!!!! Muntz you got lucky again!!!'.

That has opened up John McClane's cut even more. McClane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kermode. Kermode seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McClane has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kermode finds it's way round the side to connect with McClane's head.
The cut above John McClane's eye is starting to cause him problems now. McClane throws a leg kick but Kermode sees it coming and moves out of range. McClane avoids a lazy jab quite easily. McClane changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kermode scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. McClane lands a nice hook to Kermode's body. Kermode takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. McClane swats away the attempt to clinch by Kermode. McClane fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kermode is out of range. Kermode feinted there with a counter leg kick. McClane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kermode. That did some damage! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Washington. Washington uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Erwin.
Erwin is breathing heavily. A jab from Erwin does it's job there. Washington throws a hook to the side of Erwin's head but Erwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Washington comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Washington cracks Erwin with a good jab. Washington lands with an overhand left. Erwin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Washington throws a shot to the body.

Stakanu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Baxter avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stakanu. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stakanu lands a nice short elbow. Stakanu works his foot free and advances to mount. Stakanu unloading with bombs! Stakanu scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Luckily it didn't land flush. Hunt lands a leg kick that knocks Cow off balance momentarily. Hunt throws a quick inside leg kick. Hunt throws out a powerful jab. Hunt throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cow appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Cow shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cow takes one to the side of the head.
Hunt drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Cow right on the button. Cow goes down! Hunt follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hunt gets the win via TKO!

Heap bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Heap swings for the body but Marcum moves out of range.
Marcum ducks under a wild hook from Heap. Marcum changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Heap looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Heap throws Marcum to one side and escapes! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marcum fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Heap avoids it really well and circles away. Heap tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marcum paws at him with a jab and circles away. Heap throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Heap takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Heap looks to land a left hand but Marcum moved out of range nicely. Heap checks the leg kick nicely there.

Marcum tries to get to full guard but Heap has control of the leg. Marcum is controlling Heap's trapped leg to prevent Heap from advancing to side control. Marcum is trying to control but can't.

Heap is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Heap tries to pass to full mount but Marcum defends it. Marcum is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Heap is tapping! Great win for Marcum!

25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Smith! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith throws a leg kick which misses Judo's front leg but catches the back leg as Judo tries to avoid it. Judo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Smith did well to prevent Judo getting side control. Judo trying to control from half guard but Smith is working away. Judo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Smith trying to hold on to Judo's head to control him but Judo postures up.
Judo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Judo trying to mount his opponent but Smith defends it. Judo throwing shots but Smith is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Judo passes to side control. Smith is trying to control Judo's posture but Judo avoids it. Judo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smith has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Judo lands a few punches from side control. Judo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Judo is looking to take a break and control but Smith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Smith is looking to reverse the position. Smith is still trying to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Judo is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Judo looking to secure an arm triangle but Smith defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Judo controlling the position easily from mount. Smith tries to hold on but Judo postures up. Smith is trying to escape the mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Judo there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith is squirming around, avoiding Judo's attempts to control the action. Judo looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Smith looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight. Judo landing strikes from the mount. Judo lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith tries to hold on but Judo pushes him away. BOOM! Judo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Judo cracks Smith with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Smith is rocked! Judo wants to finish this one by submission but Smith is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Judo. Smith wants to hold on but Judo pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Judo dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Judo clobbers Smith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Judo tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Judo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard. Smith is looking to stand back up but Judo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Smith. Smith trying to control here.

Smith works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Judo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Judo sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Smith doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Judo paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Smith - great work!
