The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Story fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mukhtar to the ground. Story is now in Mukhtar's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mukhtar manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Mukhtar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Story backwards.
Story wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mukhtar fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Story looking to stall.
Story can't find room to land a body shot as Mukhtar controls the action.
Story misses with a short punch on the inside.
Story tries a body shot but Mukhtar blocks it.

Story wants a takedown.
Mukhtar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Story tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Mukhtar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mukhtar cracks Story with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Oh Story is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Story walks straight into a right hand from Mukhtar - that's dropped him! Mukhtar jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Story from any more punishment! Story complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Owen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Beenay's head.

Beenay loads up on a big left hand. Owen felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Beenay looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Owen can't hide his disappointment, as Beenay celebrates the victory.

Budlung shoots in looking for a takedown but Suckerpunch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Budlung's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looked like Suckerpunch was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Suckerpunch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Suckerpunch is looking to stand up but Budlung won't let him.
Budlung is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vinci clinches.
Pukki has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vinci avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Vinci dips a shoulder and cracks Pukki with a mighty uppercut! Pukki falls back against the cage and Vinci unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pukki is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Vinci screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
