1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vanilla Ice! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNulty misses with a body shot.
Ice tried to score with a low kick but McNulty checks it. McNulty looks to land a right hand but Ice moved out of range. McNulty shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McNulty. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ice wants to stand and escape but McNulty is having none of it. McNulty throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. McNulty is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. McNulty throws a strike but Ice rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. McNulty is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McNulty bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ice's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McNulty is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

McNulty's corner is telling him to maintain position. McNulty tries to free his leg and advance position but Ice is retaining full guard. McNulty not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ice has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes McNulty off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Ice avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

McNulty tries to bum rush Ice with a series of wild strikes but Ice uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ice throws a front kick aimed at McNulty's knee but McNulty avoids it well. McNulty moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. No luck for McNulty with that takedown attempt. McNulty dodges the punch combination from Ice.
Danga de danga de dang - Ice scores with a four punch combination! Ice lands a nice looking body kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice sprawl there from Ice as McNulty shoots in. Ice lands with a straight right. McNulty didn't see that one coming. A swing and a miss from Ice. The fight stays on the outside here - Ice looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ice steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McNulty. Ice shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ice throws a series of punches but McNulty moves out of range. A little feinted left hand from McNulty on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ice looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. McNulty rushes Ice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McNulty with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McNulty avoids the body shot from Ice.
That kick from Ice tenderised McNulty's leg. McNulty is trying to keep his angry face on. Good exchange - Ice coming out on top. Ice cracks McNulty with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A nice leg kick lands there from Ice. Ice throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Ice swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ice scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McNulty doesn't seem bothered though. Ice moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. McNulty shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. McNulty prevents Ice from standing back up.

Ice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McNulty moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ice uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McNulty.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ice tries to bum rush McNulty with a series of wild strikes but McNulty uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McNulty shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ice has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Ice looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ice blocks a jab. McNulty misses with a right hand and Ice counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ice keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McNulty moves in looking to clinch but Ice pushes him off. Vanilla Ice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McNulty swats away the attempt to clinch by Ice. McNulty appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ice connects with a solid leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Ice. McNulty does a little dance to reset his feet. Ice ducks under a wild hook from McNulty. McNulty on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McNulty moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McNulty instigates a clinch. McNulty misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Vanilla Ice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ice can do anything to dispel that myth. McNulty is looking to take a break and control but Ice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McNulty throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McNulty in particular looking to stall. McNulty moves nicely into side control. Ice is letting McNulty control him for a moment. Ice pushes McNulty away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McNulty gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Mac McNulty overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ice parries the strikes from McNulty easily there. McNulty is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ice to escape.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ice looks for the body kick but McNulty saw that one coming. Ice misses with a body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The strikes coming from McNulty are missing the target in this wave of attacks. McNulty working the strikes but Ice uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Mac McNulty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McNulty thows a huge punch but Ice dodges it nicely.

McNulty loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McNulty is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Vanilla Ice is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. McNulty with a nice head shot there.

You can see the frustration on Stark's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Harris cracks Stark with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Harris immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Yamanaka's coach down at MANTIS MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yamanaka's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Yamanaka swings and misses with a shot to the body and Grundy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Grundy avoids a punch combination nicely.

Grundy cracks Yamanaka with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Grundy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Yamanaka to stand back up! Yamanaka avoids the head kick by Grundy.
Grundy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Grundy dodges the punch combination from Yamanaka.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Karl has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Victory Gym and Spa in the buildup to the fight. Khan throws a leg kick but Karl checks it. Khan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Of Rivia. Those never looked like landing. Of Rivia cracks Blake with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Of Rivia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blake.
