The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gore, as that shot connected.
Gore misses with a low kick. Jefe is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Jefe forces Gore back against the cage and clinches. Jefe misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The referee calls for Jefe to work.
Gore misses with some punches.
Gore stalling in the clinch but Jefe improves position. Gore goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gore lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Jefe has a couple of punches blocked by Gore.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jefe goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gore has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jefe but great work by Gore. Jefe struggling a bit here. Jefe is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Gore is staying active. Jefe is trying to buck Gore off. Jefe is looking for a sweep. Jefe wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Jefe is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bocceli wants to clinch. Oneil doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Bocceli tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oneil swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bocceli misses with a leg kick and Oneil counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Christian Bocceli has been cut. Oneil scores with a nice strike. Oneil lands a big right hand that sends Bocceli crashing to the mat! Oneil stays standing though and waves Bocceli back to his feet!
Bocceli is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Oneil sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Bocceli's defenses. It connects perfectly with Bocceli's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Shaw makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Shaw gets caught flat footed, as Zalac shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Zalac throws a big elbow that misses. Shaw looking for a guillotine here but Zalac defends easily.

Shaw controls Zalac momentarily but Zalac frees himself. Zalac prevents Shaw from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zalac is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Zalac postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Shaw preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zalac drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Zalac as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Shaw screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Zalac! Nice submission victory there!
