Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Sawamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Hannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hannon closes the distance and pushes Sawamura back into the ropes.
Sawamura could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hannon has hold of one of Sawamura's legs. Sawamura is fighting the takedown attempt but Hannon gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Hannon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hannon wants to get up but he can't break Sawamura's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Omar Little.
I think Kelley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vit Tu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blanket on the ground. Steele is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cinderella Man. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Steele is defended easily by Tu.
Tu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Steele fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Steele has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Steele takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Steele throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tu's waist but Tu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steele off to one side.
An attempted straight right counter from Tu misses the target.
Vit Tu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Steele.

Steele is sitting in close to Tu's body. Tu has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Steele is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Steele is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tu.
