The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanson dives in for a single leg takedown but Rootmans sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Stanson darts in trying to clinch and Rootmans counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Selmy seems comfortable defending it but Akbar has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Selmy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Selmy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Akbar couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Whiteman misses with a right hand and Better counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Whiteman lands with a kick to the temple. Better shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Whiteman jabs Better right on the nose. Better blinks but takes it well. Better staying out of range there. Better throws a hook to the side of Whiteman's head but Whiteman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. As Better backs away, Whiteman returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Better looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Better throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Whiteman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Better dips to his left and cracks Whiteman with an uppercut! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Better!

And that's the end of the fight! Evan Better comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Better has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maiden has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maiden there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice defenses there by Moses. Moses takes a jab right on the kisser.
Moses scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Moses has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Maiden throws out a loose jab but Moses uses good head movement to avoid it. That kick from Maiden tenderised Moses's leg. Moses is trying to keep his angry face on. Maiden throws a leg kick which misses Moses's front leg but catches the back leg as Moses tries to avoid it. Eddy Maiden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! MC Wisk showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wisk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
