The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawn misses with a looping left.
Sobolev is looking to clinch.
Pawn misses with an uppercut.
Sobolev goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Sobolev clinches up with Pawn and pushes him back against the cage.
Sobolev is trying to force a seperation but Pawn has the dominant position.
Sobolev has Pawn pressed against the cage, preventing Pawn from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Pawn is looking to break free of the clinch but Sobolev has double underhooks.
Pawn tries to circle away but Sobolev has him pinned against the cage.
Pawn has had enough of the clinch but Sobolev keeps him there for the moment.

Sobolev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pawn throws a looping overhand right but Sobolev ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sobolev is defended easily by Pawn.
Sobolev gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pawn.

It looks like Viktor Sobolev has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pawn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Black Pawn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robson tries to move into range but Kvasov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kvasov sends Robson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kvasov is motioning to the referee to let Robson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dos Santos gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dos Santos apologises and we restart here on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mickey ONeill.
