Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Percival Pacaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihashi Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato is looking to chop away at Pacaldo's legs.
Pacaldo throwing a counter right hand but Sato manages to avoid it.
Pacaldo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sato pinned against the ropes. Sato gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pacaldo throws a jab when Sato was well out of range.
Sato tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sato closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pacaldo circles away.

Pacaldo takes the fight into the clinch.

The defeated Bread Panterson had this to say: 'Sometimes, we win, and sometimes we lost, but in the end we, all both persevere in life!so in this defeat, i will not hinder, and i'll be back much stronger than before'.

Pitbull uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nascimento.
Pitbull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pitbull just misses with a punch to the body.

Nascimento lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nascimento has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

In his post fight interview, Cristiano Nascimento started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
