2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dale Denton! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blasted looking to score a takedown here. Denton is defending well but Blasted drives through and ends up in Denton's guard. Denton pulls Blasted in close to his closed guard and prevents Blasted from doing any damage or advancing position. Blasted postures up.
Denton is pulling down on Blasted's head. It's preventing any offense from Blasted, at least for the moment. Blasted trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Blasted trying to stand up but can't free himself from Denton's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Denton is trying to keep Blasted in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Blasted throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Denton on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blasted closes the distance and clinches. Denton has Blasted pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Blasted manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Blasted escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blasted scores with a hook. A momentary lapse in concentration from Denton enables Blasted to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Denton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Denton trying to keep a closed guard but Blasted is proving a slippery customer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beling lets loose with a powerful body kick. Patterson will feel that in the morning. Beling stuffs the takedown attempt from Patterson. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet. Patterson is looking to clinch. Beling thows a body kick. Patterson tries to catch it but that hurt him. Patterson is breathing heavily. Beling scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Beling trying to control the action but Patterson is working from the bottom. Beling stands up and we're back to a striking position. Beling cracks Patterson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Patterson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Beling can do further damage! This one is done, son!

A relieved looking Alex Beling thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. The defeated Russell Patterson had this to say: 'Nothing changes, just the fans!'.

It looks like Asko Ilmarinen has been cut. Ilmarinen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ilmarinen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Silva throws a right and a left that both miss. Silva moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ilmarinen moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off. Silva lands a left and a right that send Ilmarinen crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ilmarinen is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Ilmarinen is looking to close the distance but Silva sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Ilmarinen crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Ilmarinen is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rack shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Tokyo inform us that Rack has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Gingerson trying to control the position from guard on top but Rack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gingerson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gingerson defends it nicely. Rack shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gingerson sprawls well. Gingerson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rack gets slowly back to his feet. Gingerson clinches with his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gingerson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rack but Rack pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rack misses with a takedown attempt and Gingerson counters by moving into the clinch. Gingerson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rack closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gingerson quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rack thows a huge punch but Gingerson dodges it nicely.
Rack trying to control the action but Gingerson is working from the bottom. Rack throws a strike but Gingerson avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Rack looking to sit in guard and control but Gingerson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gingerson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rack looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rack keeping moving, preventing Gingerson from controlling successfully. Rack wants to control but Gingerson passes easily into half guard.

It looks like Keith Rack has been cut. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gingerson connects with a nice short shot to Rack's temple. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rack pushes Gingerson off but Gingerson dives into side control.
