Michaels changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Barrett looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Michaels is looking to take a break and control but Barrett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Barrett wants to control but Michaels postures up.
Barrett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Michaels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Michaels wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Barrett, who protects the arm well.
Barrett tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Michaels presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
