The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deep throws a head kick that half lands.
Deep misses with a lunging right hand

and White counters with a shoot takedown. Deep fights it but they end up in guard.

White gets to his feet. Deep looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

White decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
White is thwarting Deep's attempts to control the position.
Deep tries to roll over but White keeps him under control.
White passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gouveia throws a nice looking combination but Intagilokali bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Intagilokali has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gouveia is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Lewis lands a big right hand that sends Sobral crashing to the mat! Lewis stays standing though and waves Sobral back to his feet!

Sobral is rocked!

It looks like Renato Sobral has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good leg kick by Lewis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lewis lands a nice hook to Sobral's body. Sobral takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lewis misses with a looping right.
Lewis loads up on a big right hand but Sobral slips the punch.
And Sobral tries to counter it with a takedown but Lewis pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Lewis connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Sobral tumbling to the canvas! Lewis pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Sobral was done - good stoppage!
