The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar shoots in and bounces Pulkkinen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Pulkkinen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lesnar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar throws a big right hand that misses. Lesnar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lesnar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lesnar works over Pulkkinen with some ground and pound from guard. Lesnar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Pulkkinen is rocked! Lesnar loads up on a big left hand. Pulkkinen felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Lesnar looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Pulkkinen can't hide his disappointment, as Lesnar celebrates the victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dinapoli drives through with a takedown into Doom's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Blood shoots in but Jodorowsky avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jodorowsky leaves Blood with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've been hearing reports that Blood has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jodorowsky throws an overhand right that lands on Blood's shoulder, as Blood tries to avoid the shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jodorowsky throws a leg kick but Blood sees it coming and moves out of range. Blood appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A shot to the body from Jodorowsky misses and Blood counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Blood is standing up over Jodorowsky. Jodorowsky looks to escape but Blood dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Blood keeping moving, preventing Jodorowsky from controlling successfully. Blood looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jodorowsky is one step ahead there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blood is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Blood is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jodorowsky is looking for a sweep. Blood is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jodorowsky moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jodorowsky just misses with a punch to the body.

Blood feinted with a counter takedown. Blood closes the distance and clinches up with Jodorowsky, looking for a takedown. Blood pushes Jodorowsky against the cage but Jodorowsky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jodorowsky tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blood shoots for a double leg takedown but Jodorowsky sprawls well. He's pushed Blood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jodorowsky drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Blood defends it well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blood circles away from the clinch attempt.

We've been informed that Oneil has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Oneil lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shayne Corson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim McKinnon! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Corson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Corson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Corson slips a jab from McKinnon. Nice defenses there by Corson. McKinnon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Corson throws a body kick that misses. Corson throws a leg kick which misses McKinnon's front leg but catches the back leg as McKinnon tries to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corson throws a body punch but McKinnon moves out of range. McKinnon throws out a counter right but Corson avoids it with no problem. Good shot there by McKinnon. McKinnon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKinnon scores with a shot to the body.
Good leg kick by Corson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Corson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McKinnon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Corson throws a leg kick that is checked and McKinnon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Corson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Corson thumps McKinnon with a low kick. Corson cracks McKinnon with an open hand slap. McKinnon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McKinnon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Corson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McKinnon. McKinnon's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! A solid leg kick lands there for Corson.
Shayne Corson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McKinnon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. McKinnon misses with an uppercut
and Corson counters with a nice low kick that buckles McKinnon's knee momentarily. Corson throws a head kick but McKinnon moves out of range.
It seemed like McKinnon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. McKinnon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Corson moves into range and connects with a jab.
McKinnon is rocked! McKinnon circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Corson. McKinnon falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Corson!
