The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Coon is working for a takedown up against the cage. Llama throws a head kick that misses. Saint takes a swing at Llama's ribcage but misses. Llama tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Saint shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Llama's guard. Saint drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Saint jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Saint postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alfonzo swings around for an armbar but Loucks sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Alfonzo's guard. Loucks is stalling in the full guard. Alfonzo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Loucks passes into half guard. Alfonzo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Loucks pulls his head out easily. Loucks is looking for a kimura. Vegas shoots in for a double leg but Spiller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Liam Vegas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vegas fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Vegas looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vegas wants to clinch. Spiller cracks Vegas with an open hand slap. Vegas has one foot on Spiller's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Spiller connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Spiller has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Spiller lands a two punch combo.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chupacabra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. No joy there for Green, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Green wants to clinch up but Chupacabra keeps it at a distance. Green throws a series of punches but Chupacabra moves out of range. Chupacabra rushes Green and presses him up against the cage. Chupacabra is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Green gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Chupacabra breaks from the clinch.
Green tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chupacabra misses the shot to the body. A punch combination from Green misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Chupacabra. Green is looking to reverse the position. Chupacabra scoring with punches and elbows. Chupacabra tries to score with some ground and pound. Green will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ashoka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A combination from Weeks does no damage. Ashoka staying out of range there. Ashoka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Weeks's waist but Weeks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ashoka off to one side.
