Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Klas Micropop!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Micropop scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Kosti Lom has been cut.
Lom avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lom throws a quick counter kick to the body but Micropop avoids it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lom lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Micropop has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Micropop and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Micropop sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

It looks like Klas Micropop has been cut.
Micropop ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lom takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lom throws a hook to the side of Micropop's head but Micropop sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Micropop avoids the head kick by Lom.
Micropop blocks the body kick.
Micropop takes a head kick and keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lom throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lom throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Micropop stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Micropop gets a clinch.
Micropop takes an elbow to the temple.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lom creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

That has opened up Klas Micropop's cut even more.

Micropop's coach down at Bruize Brothers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Micropop's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Micropop is trying to maintain a safe position but Lom gets an underhook and turns Micropop into the cage.

Klas Micropop's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Klas Micropop's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Garver throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dearborn.

Garver lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
